An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg grows outside of the uterus. Almost all ectopic pregnancies—more than 90%—occur in a fallopian tube. As the pregnancy grows, it can cause the tube to burst (rupture). A rupture can cause major internal bleeding.
However, because tissues outside the uterus cannot provide the necessary blood supply and support, ultimately the fetus does not survive. The structure containing the fetus typically ruptures after about 6 to 16 weeks, long before the fetus is able to live on its own.

Maybe I'm just a dick.. but you mean to tell me that the doctor that let you know this was happening, who was most likely a obgyn or gave you the referral to an ultra sound, just sent you on your way? No prescription, no follow up appointment, or an appointment to flush it, nothing?
If it were an emergency, I am sure they would send you to surgery or er immediately.
Also, you are a provider and don't know how to get into any obgyn? Planned parenthood, neighborhood clinic, or even your city's health department?? Where do you go for regular check ups?
That you have no group of loved ones who you would talk to about this??
