@shetz
I hear ya. I did appreciate enterprise 2000-2005. But, it was not as good as next gen or voyager
I fully agree beyond that.

I find it amusing that knowing the "trekies" abbreviate the series into 3 letter designations:
TOS - The Original Series - late 60's
TAS - The Animated Series - early 70's
TNG - The Next Genration - late 80's into 90's
DS9 -Deep Space 9 - mid 90's
VOY - VOYager - late 90's
ENT - ENTerprise - early 2000's
and now we have Star Trek Discovery.... or STD
Seems the producers dont know their audience.

@mo
Yeah, gotta love that STD. wTF

Picard?
Strange New Worlds?
OST was 1966, not late '60's
I remember watching it in real time and was one of the letter writers begging them for another season.
STD was tedious
It's like everything these days
Oh, a little CGI is good?
Then let's throw a shot ton of it in and forget writing a good story
Like something where James Tiberius Kirk gets to bone the hot alien
This thing is now beyond dead.
Sad

@balls
Picard, didnt like it. I heard the last season brought all the cast back together. Thats cool, but they lost me session 1.
Ive heard good things about Strange New Worlds, but I dont like the writing coming from those Bad robot folks. Havent watched. You watching it. Is it any good?
We need a resurgence of evidence based sci fi. Science the shit out of it all and bring us back together.
Not gunna get that with dune stories.
But, I love that spice.
And that big ass worm.
Reminds me of cock, big and spicy.

Balls -
I do believe the first episode aired on September 8, 1966
Ran for 3 seasons.
Last episode aired on June 3, 1969
That's the late sixties.

Technically, I counted start date only
But I'm happy to concede the point
My logic failed me due to a faulty mind meld with an Andorian photon torpedo
