From my interactions with women, I believe the key is patience and adequate amount of foreplay. Asking, listening and responding to what actually pleasures the lady. No two women are identical and have the same stimuli. So what might work with one, won't work with another.
I was once told that men are like microwaves and women are like slow cookers. Takes women a lot longer to get to the mental and physical stimulation and arousal.
