Unfortunately it’s common.
Buy a detection marker off Amazon
|

Amazon sells high quality detectors for less than $100. First fake bill it catches pays for itself.
They are relatively small and compact meaning easy to travel with. All of the important features (such as paper, watermarks, threads, inks, etc) are checked for whereas the pens (while much more discreet) only check for correct paper. And each bill takes less than a second to inspect so it is really easy to confirm while your beau is in washing his hands.

Skippy...no more charcouterie boards?

It is important to recognize the distinction between "fake money" and "counterfeit money." They are not the same, and get totally different treatment.
"Fake Money" is the money that Hollywood uses. It can actually be bought online. The front side is pretty obvious but the back side looks very real. If anyone flashes you money that shows only the back side then you should be cautious and inspect it closely. If you accept fake money you really have no recourse; the local police will laugh their ass off that you were so stupid to accept it and the Secret Service won't lift a finger.
"Counterfeit Money" on the other hand is treated as a criminal offense and the Secret Service will be all over it. It looks and feels like the real thing with only a few important differences.
In the environment we are in today, it is more likely than someone will try to pass fake money off to you as opposed to counterfeit money, because there is essentially no crime involved; especially if it was used to pay for a service that was illegal to begin with. The perp will laugh in your face and say,"Go ahead, tell them what it was for and see what happens!"
Invest in a bill counter that not only counts the bills, but will detect any anomalies like fake or counterfeit bills. As an alternative, there are pens that can be bought online that will easily and immediately detect any bill that does not have the same acidic content as the paper used to make real currency.
Do nothing and get caught trying to pass a fake bill or counterfeit currency yourself and there will be major drama involved with your bank, and possible LE as well.

Please let the community know who that is so no one can be ripped off, you had this experience on day 2 you being on HX that is sad

buy one of the pins that merchants use to detect fake bills. and i believe the treasury dept and FBI handle funny money reports. but you are stuck w it. banks are stuck w fake money too and have been known to pass it along....

supposedly (never tried it myself), you can't just scan & print money - google says "modern" printers and photoshop are sophisticated enough not to permit that function.
Counterfeiting is a big no no - a felony - something that the Secret Cervix takes VERY seriously.
Bluntly, anyone here intentionally passing bogus bucks could bring scrutiny here much faster than anything else.
Don't do it.
Out the person who did so we can hear their side of the story -- if merely passing along - ok, fine, (say one or two of the bills they gave you).
If they are doing intentionally - we don't need that shit here.

It's totally a dude in charge of the Emily account !

"Why make an arrangement and show up with fake cash?"
Funny what happens when you attract the demographic most likely to rip you off in the first place.

^ EXACTLY
That is why new girls to the site should CLOAK their ads to not show to "lurkers" or guys in Q. One of my very first clients back in 2021 severely shorted me (360) and it turned out that he was in Q. Immediately after ripping me off he deleted his profile. No $$ outlay for him to sign up and total anonymity. I chalked it up to a lesson well learned!

I guess I better purchase a higher quality printer. These bimbos are on to me.

Save your $100 from Amazon. Best way to detect a fake is via touch & feel.

And no one reports it
|
|
The Gov just released the $20 2017 now circulating
It has dark ink - more bold. Looks fake.
But checked out with the watermark strip etc
|
|
Just like ppl who OD in front of U
And ppl afraid to call 911
Trump wants the death penalty for these dealers
U can report anything.
Now If I am selling something illegally and he steals it, I can't call the cops and ask them to do something.
U just report the money
And say how u got it
Say u had a garage sale and sold one of Hunter Biden paintings
LoL ovi don't say that. Say u sold ur 2018 calender.
|
|
I would be interested in one of those paintings for my restroom decor.
|
|
Yes I have seen 2 people from other sites that tried the fake money !! The first money really looked almost real too !!

^ NOT RAPE
Sorry to hear what happened to your friend, but she was ripped-off/scammed... not raped.
No DA is going to take that case, not a chance.
Again, it sucks that these losers are trying pulling this shit, but they're not committing a criminal sexual assault (rape).

|
Wow, thanks for info. I'll definitely be taking a extra look at all money received.

Cash ap seems to work well for most.
I am phasing it out because they need to align with a checking account, no cc anymore.
One of the other services burnt me.
Zelle is insecure.
I really prefer cash. No problem ever.
