This is the second time you've tiptoed into the waters rarely touched - the idea of self-appreciation, self-confidence, knowing the difference between a good man and a bad boy, and sides of life that can get easily lost in the haze of society's shallow views.
I respect you so much, and look forward to meeting you, even if it's just a platonic hello. I'm a bit old and worry about things like that, but you appear to be the kind of person we all need in out lives ... someone considerate, someone moving, someone better than the average human.

Let's face some facts. Women didn't have financial autonomy until the mid 1970's. Meaning a woman could own, manage property, or access credit without a husband to cosign a loan. You go back 100 years my grandmother's marriage to my grandfather was arranged. Choice.?
Unfortunately today the patriarchal ways are trying to take back freedoms that most of us thought were long fought for and won. Now, this small dying group of Christian fascists are openly gerrymandering, committing acts of voter suppression. 35,000 ballots in Florida disqualified in 2020. In 2022 Texas disqualified 24,000 mail in ballots. Probably from the biggest democratic district. This is where they have a 6 week abortion ban.
There are women made to carry a dead fetus until it turns sepsis. That's the only time a doctor can legally intervene without being charged with murder. That is Christian fascism. If that isn't evil I don't know what is.... maybe NOT doing something about it.
