I'm half way through... this is fucking hilarious. Trump is directing Trump employee #1 and
trump employee #2 what to with HIS boxes. I swear this is Ted knight as Trump.
Employee #2 is al Franken. It's text messages, tape recorded interviews, videos. Like I said ..
Trump fucks himself.

They call this a talking indictment because of the way the indictment is told as a story. This special prosecutor jack Smith is a funny guy. There's a certain dead pan humor. Trump of couse looks like an idiot. Ted knight or Rodney dangerfield. But this story of trump playing hide and seek with the FBI reminds me of the Woody Allen movie Broadway Danny rose. The chase through the hanger where they keep the Macy's balloons... except they're hiding trumps boxes 📦 ..

Meanwhile the Clintons and the Bidens get a pass.
It's apparent that the govt no longer represents the people.
We no longer have equal justice under the law.
|
|
All anyone has to do to convict Hillary or Biden is investigate and present evidence in a court of law and convince a jury to convict. I can't count how many times Hilary has been investigated and during your buffoon's presidency that investigation turned up nothing.
|
|
Trump is the perfect useful idiot - just ask Vladimir Putin, in fact, in the face of Russia's continuous war crimes committed on the Ukrainians under the direction of Putin, Trump still refuses to condemn any of Putin's acts on record.
|
|
^
Of course they investigate. But then they walk away from the Clintons and others because they are their friends, they support their political point of view, etc.
This started even before Trump took office, a meeting at the White House with the FBI. Peter Strzok's private notes say, "Logan Act -- Joe Biden" with reference to investigating an American hero, Gen. Michael Flynn.
Forget that the Logan Act is over 100 years old. Forget that it has been prosecuted scant few times. Forget that it has NEVER been prosecuted. With Obama, Clinton, Biden, and FBI Director James Comey present in the meeting, Biden proposes they go after Flynn...16 days before Trump takes office -- the first salvo in dozens of legal attacks on Trump and his administration. If they could destroy Flynn, a decorated hero, then Trump would surely be brought down.
Hillary had a private server containing classified information in her basement or bathroom. It was illegal under the Espionage Act...but no charges.
Joe Biden has 40 years of classified docs dating back to his Senate and VP days. Some in his offices in Chinatown (of all places), and others in boxes in his garage next to his Corvette....but no charges.
Bill Clinton had classified documents...but no charges.
Hillary and all of her documents and devices were under Congressional subpoena. After the subpoena was served on her, she had her staff use Bleach-Bit to wipe all of her hard drives. Then collected all of her staff's Blackberry devices, and had her staff remove the SIM cards and destroy them...then they smashed all of the devices to smitherenes with hammers...but no charges.
Funny how Democrats avoid ALL charges, Republicans catch ALL charges. But it's all legit.

We’ve had 46 U.S. Presidents, and they’ve been indicted on a total of 71 felony counts. Here’s how it breaks down:
1-44: 0
45: 71
46: 0
Only one has had bitter political opponents apparently.
|
|
Meanwhile “blah blah blah” gets a pass.
Cut the misdirection bullshit.
Every competent legal expert has shown how what Trump told investigators is one thing (a lie) and what he was recorded saying to others about how documents were still classified tears down his defense.
And Trump keeps digging the hole bigger.
|
|
But how is that any different than any single person in politics? Every last one of them has lied, will lie. And IMHO I think what the Biden family has done to this country is much more damaging then Trump lying.
|
|
Bill Barr says Trump's indictment is 'very damning' if 'even half of it is true'.
“He is not the victim here.”
He’s a bitch.
|

It's amazing how partisans simply ignore the fact that Trump's the one who put himself in jeopardy.
He didn't have to say that he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation. This directly led to the Mueller investigation.
He could have acted like Biden, Clinton, & Pence and not obstructed an investigation to find classified documents that shouldn't have been taken.
If Biden, Clinton, or Pence had acted like Trump did, they would have been in the same amount of trouble.
Trump said that he could shoot someone on fifth avenue and still win. This statement looks truer and truer each time partisans give him a pass for his actions.

"He could have acted like Biden, Clinton, & Pence and not obstructed an investigation to find classified documents that shouldn't have been taken." On what planet is destroying 33 thousand emails and 5 cell phones that are under subpoena not considered obstructing an investigation? Asking for a friend.
|
|
Your friend is an idiot.
|
|
No, he has a point. I don't understand why Clinton wasn't prosecuted for this.
And I don't accept the narrative that it's because there's a two-tiered justice system.
|
|
Your “friend” should be tossed into the looney bin.
|
|
Night Rider have you searched the internet for articles explaining why?
|

Shitcan votes libtard to accommodate his trannie fetish
|
|
Yeah, did some more reading and have put together this narrative: Supposedly, the 33,000 emails were requested to be erased before the subpoena but got destroyed technically after the subpoena.
The FBI couldn’t find evidence that Clinton intentionally tried to conceal these emails from the investigation.
Problem is if you think the FBI has a two-tiered system of justice for Dems and Republicans, you’re not going to be satisfied with this answer without more details.
|
|
If you think Hillary was guilty, then you would also have to think that Trump is guilty.
If you let Hillary off then, same with Trump.
One cannot be guilty and the other innocent.................UNLESS...........
You have a double standard and a two-tiered justice system.
Hillary is NOT innocent just because a Democratic admin allowed her to walk.
Now, that same admin is prosecuting Trump for the very same crimes.
AND, Hillary's intent was very clear, in that not only did she set up the system but she also trashed it, bleached it, etc........clear proof that SHE KNEW she was guilty.
Trump is a moron.
If you know that the other partisan side is gunning for you, why make it easy for them by withholding the docs when asked for them? Just give them up and kill the thing dead.
But, no.........this guy is his own worst enema (no, that is not a mis-pelling).
The indictment is a strong case, due to Trump's own stupidity.
Now, it's up to the defense to see what they come up with.
But, if he goes to a jury trial?
I think he's toast...............just Hillary should've been also.
|
|
Bill Barr, tramp is toast.

"The FBI couldn’t find evidence that Clinton intentionally tried to conceal these emails from the investigation."
Geez NR, get in the game would ya?
Of course they found it, she scrubbed everything or so she thought, lol
Then a bunch of the emails showed up on Anthony Wiener's laptop.........quite a few of them classified.
James Comey was all in for Hilly, it's that simple.......and he hated Trump
So, he declared "no reasonable DA would charge her"........just a silly mistake and really really careless.
Guess what?
That's NOT his job to say so in public.
He basically gave the DOJ the OK to do nothing.
Fucking FBI top brass are just a bunch of political hacks.
We need to back to the days, like when Freeh as running things, that we have an ACTUAL experienced agent heading up that shit show. Comey was just an attorney, NOT an experienced agent and Trump fucked that up too by keeping him around til he didn't.

Comparing how Biden, Clinton and Pence handled having classified documents to how Trump has handled his dispute is an apple to oranges comparison. You cannot compare what 2 Vice Presidents and a Secretary of State did to what an outgoing President did. Like it or not the Presidential Records Act will allow the Trump legal team to argue that what he did was legal. The other 3 have no such defense. What they did was theft of government property.
|
|
That is definitely something the Defense will go with. However, if you look closely, you will see that Veeps are covered under the Act with regards to their records, exactly as the Presi is.
See under Provisions, fifth bullet point.

I'm no lawyer, so would not care to address how this would be handled "legally".
Is a classified document considered a VP "record"?
Or is it only documents created by or for the VP?
The Pres definitely has more leeway, however it appears as though they all have to follow certain steps and guidelines..........we all know that Trump don't do steps and guidelines.
So, instead he steps on another rake and fucks himself up.
Frankly, I don't want this type of guy running a country. He's too fast and loose with his decision making, there's NO process at all, other than what he feels like on that day at that hour depending on what he ate and whether he has fart gas backed up or not.
I've watched this guy for 40 years and I see NO genius or even much intelligence. I recall very vividly how he walked away from the Mexican condo development that had his name on it.........saying that he was only a licensee of his name and had no responsibility to the people that lost all their money.
Fuck that guy...........
imho

|
"See under Provisions, fifth bullet point". Looks like it pertains to individual correspondence. Don't see how you can read that and come away with the impression the VP has the power to declassify and then take documents.
|
|
“Please note that the PRA treats the records of the President and those of the Vice President in almost the same manner such that, in most cases below, President and Vice President can be used interchangeably.”
See link.
|
|
From the PRA: "Under the PRA, the official records of the President and his staff are owned by the United States, not by the President."
|
|
The PRA will not protect Trump.
International and foreign experts on Constitutional law confirm, and even Trump’s own statements as contradict with what he said and used for personal defense earlier.
He is beyond fucked.

Trey gowdy led his republican attack dogs into 8 congressional investigations into Benghazi. Clinton testified for 11 hours straight, and they found no prosecutable information. They spent $7 million of taxpayer money and got nothing. I'm aware that this fascinating discussion is about the emails.
However, if you can't see that the republicans in congress fronting these crazy partisan attacks are just downright inept, then you are no better. If they could have prosecuted her, they would have. Trump had his buttboy Barr in office for an extended period of time, and could have forced him to file charges on her. The reason they never do it, is that they know that they can't prove any crime was ever committed. So they make a bunch of noise, spend a whole shit ton of tax money, and do absolutely nothing positive for this country. And 35% of the population suckles on the teets of Faux news, and just keeps on believing everything they're told. It really would be funny if it wasn't so fucking pathetic.

They need to get the orange tramp an orange jumpsuit.
Bill Barr
"Well, it started out under the Presidential Records Act, and the Archives trying to retrieve documents that Trump had no right to have, but it quickly became clear that what the government was really worried about were these classified and very sensitive documents," Barr said. "I was shocked by the degree of sensitivity of these documents and how many there were, frankly. And so the government's agenda was to get those, protect those documents and get them out, and I think it was perfectly appropriate to do that. It was the right thing to do, and I think the counts under the Espionage Act -- that he willfully retained those documents -- are solid counts."

"Benghazi"
Funk Benghazi, you idiot.
Classified emails on a private server in her home, destroyed after being subpoenaed, then showing up on a random laptop that moron Comey dug into at the last minute which sank Clinton's election.
Yes, she was guilty and she knew it.
Or, maybe it was she emailed a brownie recipe that she didn't want the world to know about, so she sent a team in to bleach the hard drives and sledge hammer everything?
Yeah, that's the ticket....
Look, Hilly isn't important, what IS important is the application of the law. If applied equally, both her and Trump are either sharing a cell in Rikers or tanning on the beach.........together.
I doubt this will go well for the Orange menace.

In a nutshell........
"First, Mr. Smith’s case against Mr. Trump is a devastating charge sheet that, if validated in court, suggests behavior by a former president so recklessly indifferent to U.S. national security, so contemptuous of the law, and so preening and vain as to be—on its own, aside from anything else we may have ever heard or read about this man—disqualifying for any public office, let alone the highest in the land.
Second, that the decision by Joe Biden’s Justice Department to pursue a criminal case against Mr. Biden’s predecessor and likely opponent is a radical and dangerous overreach, a fateful move that can only undermine public faith in the law, and a troubling suggestion of selective justice, following the non-prosecution of Hillary Clinton in 2016 and the proliferating evidence of a lack of prosecutorial zeal by this administration over investigations relating to the president’s own family.
This is more than a guess on my part. A solid bloc of Americans are appalled by and tired of being confronted with yet more evidence of Mr. Trump’s dishonesty, moral turpitude and utter shamelessness, and the current president’s chicanery, divisive opportunism and rising unfitness. A new ABC/Ipsos poll finds less than one-third of American voters have a favorable view of each man."
This is how the majority of Americans view this shit show. ^^^^

As it has been mentioned in the media, Trump will probably get the GOP nomination
and his trial will probably not begin until after the election. So if he becomes POTUS,
he will pardon himself.
With the way things are being played out, I will be shocked if Trump goes to jail.
The Clintons got away but if will be interesting to see if Biden can wiggle out
of the mounting evidence that he and his family received payments from
foreign entities.
If Trump wins the presidency, he will go after the Bidens. That will be fun to watch.
|
|
I agree that his winning the election is probably his best hope in escaping consequences. Those who think that opposition to him is mainly for show point to how late any serious effort (and no effort from Garland) got going. As far as Biden, like Hillary all anybody has to do is present evidence. Evidence is not talking about somebody who they've heard has a recording of people talking about incriminating things. Personally, I am in favor of all corrupt criminal politicians being prosecuted, I don't care what political party they are in.

Tramp will most likely win the gop nomination, but will lose the general. Independents determine the outcome of recent elections and his legal problems have with a 61% unfavorable rating. If tramp and the repubnazis were strategic, he would dropout and throw his support behind a candidate who can win the general and would be willing to pardon the orange clown if elected.
