You don't have to be a libtard, RINO, libcunt, limp wrist thrower or whatever to acknowledge the DOJ have demonstrated evidence of malign intent and conspiracy to commit espionage act crimes that passed the burden of a grand jury. This is a reasonable perspective for any liberal, independent or principled conservative that believes in the rule of law and protecting our most sensitive secrets.
Forget the whataboutism. This is about Trump and he was given every opportunity, and special consideration (as others have been), to avoid consequences for the original crimes. If he’d just given the documents back and not lied, obstructed and colluded to cover them up, we would never have heard about it and he wouldn’t have been indicted.
Self-inflicted wound, which considering the jury pool and process, he may indeed evade justice for.

I just can't see Trump getting any jail/prison time for this. They'll either be a plea, or he'll get pardoned.

Trump will not be offered a plea deal (to get off if he doesn’t run for public office again) to avoid the appearance that his prosecution was politically motivated.
Trump has boxed himself into a corner. He would have afforded Hillary no mercy when she mishandled confidential information (but without the malicious intent in Trump’s case), so why should he expect mercy now?
It’s not a good look to prosecute a former president, but what are the consequences if he isn’t prosecuted? The rule of law would be meaningless and it would embolden future presidents to break laws without serious consequences.
If found guilty, Trump needs to pay for the crimes that he has committed.

If he’s making copies of the documents, he’s likely selling them.
Again, ask yourself: why did Trump take boxes and boxes of classified documents, which he knew (based on the recording) that he wasn’t entitled to having, and then lied about giving them back repeatedly?
Since many of the documents related to nuclear secrets, does that not suggest why he wanted to keep them and their potential usefulness to him?
