I won't disagree with your assessment of Biden. But at least other world leaders aren't hesitant to have their picture taken with Biden like they were with Trump.
It just goes to show how badly the entire political structure in the US had denigrated to the point that we can't do better than either DJT or Biden.
As a life-long Republican, I have now switched to Independent. In the future, I will only vote for someone who has not sworn a blood oath to destroy the opposition by any means necessary. I will not vote for someone who turns a blind eye to another politician's misdeeds solely because "We need his vote!"
I urge others to consider the same. In fact, I think that EVERY politician, federal, state, or local, that has been in office for 8 years or more should be voted out! That would send the strongest message to all politicians, current and future, that we the people will not tolerate extremism in any form.
The current state of affairs, largely led by these professional politicians, has become a dismal quagmire of partisan politics. Time for a new game plan! Time for new blood!
TERM LIMITS on the federal level - is the simplest means of accomplishing that!

I took the time to review that entire list of 100. It is obviously a very liberal interpretation of facts. No doubt some of them (maybe even most of them) are true, but the "flavor" of that article was yet another example of extremism on the part of the author(s).
In the end, I found about 5 things that I would take exception to as being really bad. The other 95, I just don't know enough about them to comment but they do appear to be very liberal viewpoints.
So in essence, you have chosen to debate "extremism" with even more "extremism." And that is what I find most troubling. THAT is exactly what is wrong with America today!
@sherkhan, can you provide an article that lists the good things that President Trump accomplished while in office? I would not suggest that you necessarily agree with it, but will you at least acknowledge that some portion of the population has a differing viewpoint?

i'm not a fan generally of political posts on HX, but Marissais thought-provoking. It obviously also provoked the mindless MAGA response of Jackrabbit33. Biden might be slipping congnitively, but he is at least fighting to hold our democracy together and make it stronger. Trump never once considered what was best for the USA and acted soleley in his personal egocentric best interest. And he is truly stupid and corrupt. He has overplayed the victim card like nobody else in our political history and it is time he actually faces consequences for the harm he has done.
By the way, take a look at the recent numbers - inflation is slowing and the economy is strong...

In reviewing that interview, it really doesn't matter who the news organization or even the interviewer was - it was DJT's OWN WORDS that are incriminating. Unless of course, you are suggesting that the entire interview was some sort of AI job where they put words in DJT's mouth!
Jack Smith's most brilliant move was to only ask that DJT not be allowed to talk about the classified documents, but not impose a general gag order. DJT alone is Smith's best investigator! Smith just sits at home eating popcorn and drinking sodas watching DJT on TV admit to his own wrongdoing.
If Jack Smith is mad about anything it is the fact that the DOJ spent so much time and resources investigating DJT when all they really needed to do was sit back and watch DJT convict himself!

It's proven by his own words that he withheld $1 billion in aid to Ukraine as VP, in exchange for firing a prosecutor that was investigating Hunter's company Burisma in Ukraine. And Hunter was making over $1M on the board, knew nothing about oil and gas, didn't speak Ukrainian, and even admitted himself that he got the position because he was a Biden.
Now there's allegations of a $10 million bribe from Ukraine to the Biden family, distributed to many of them through over a dozen shell corporations. In exchange for what...maybe $1 billion in weapons?
We haven't even cracked the shell on Joe and Hunter's dealings with China and the CCP, and state owned banks and financial conglomerates. The roots to the Biden crime tree are thick and deep, and make Watergate look like kids playing hide and seek.

None of the cases are legit in any way but that said I would not be surprised if a deep blue jury convicts him. Edmond that is highly unlikely.
Most Independent and Democrat (and some Republican) voters feel strongly about abortion rights and Republican inaction on passing reasonable gun laws. DeSantis is a fascist who is on the wrong side of these issues, and his spat with Disney is embarrassing him.
A more moderate Republican may have a chance to appeal to the masses enough to win the election. But the crazy far Right is preventing such a candidate from gaining traction.

Schiff goes over what the Mueller investigation really found concerning Russian interference in the 2016 election and that there was evidence of collusion but that evidence did rise to the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard.
