I can confirm that rates are on the rise.
We were schedule to drop off product to a major client early this morning, and their receiving department let us know there was a major delay, as 1/4 of the staff is infected, and that mask were requested while on the warehouse grounds.

Is your information anecdotal? Wastewater surveillance in Southern California shows very low levels of the virus that causes COVID.

Thanks for that link, Night-Rider. I've never looked at that site. I've just been reading LA County Public Health's press releases. Every year of the pandemic our wastewater numbers have been low before the Fourth of July. With the holidays and summer travel season the numbers start rising. SARS-CoV-2 is still out there. It will get bad again like it does every year.

OMG, I am such a libicunt's libicunt.
I live in constant fear of this stupid virus. I wear a respirator everywhere. Still, SARS-CoV-2 is everywhere. SARS-CoV-2 is in all indoor public spaces, especially the grocery store and office buildings. It can't be avoided. All a person can do is to try to limit the amount of virus that they inhale.
In a minute I am going to list all of the stupid things that this stupid virus has done to me.

According to the metropolitan government, XBB subtypes made up over 90% of all genome-sequenced cases in the capital in the week through May 28, led by XBB.1.16 at 31.3% and followed by XBB.1.9.1 at 20.8% and XBB.1.5 at 15.6%."
"XBB is highly infectious and is capable of escaping immunity gained from past infection or vaccines, though it has not been confirmed to cause symptoms severer than other omicron sublineages, according to the National Institute of Infectious Diseases."

We have more immunity than ever. That was the issue all along-- no immunity in 2020.
Not the same problem now as in 2020 or 2021 or even 2022.
