This seems to be the latest strategy of Democrats who know they cant stand up and defend Leftist policies and more importantly said results.
Look no further than the AZ midterms where the Secretary of State Katie Hobbs runs for Governor, doesn't recuse herself from election oversight, and refused to debate her opponent. Even CNN called bullshit on the strategy as "non-Democratic".
Massive election law violations and AZ ends up with an completely illegitimate Governor who has vetoed over 80 bills put forth by the GOP led Senate.

I'm not sure how much a "debate" would actually have done to change anyone's mind. To me, it would have been more like a wrestling match, where you cheer on your hero & boo your villain.

I actually think it would be helpful to have a debate on this issue in order to show just how crazy RFK Jr. has become, but having it on Joe Rogan's show is a mistake.
Rogan is obviously biased and can control the discussion, so a more neutral party should have the debate. The rest of the Kennedy family thinks RFK Jr. is a loon.

Biden has always been an easy target because of his speech impediment. He's not nearly as feeble as conservatives paint him as being, but that won't prevent the jokes and disparagement from the Right.
RFK Jr. sides with conservatives more than liberals (which is fine), but he has crazy ideas about a number of issues and has always been an anti-vaxxer.
Like Trump, he's ultimately unelectable. As more people actually hear his positions, the less traction he will have.

I would really like to know why in a country that has people smart enough to put people on the moon, put satellites in space, create medicine to cure all types of illnesses we can't fine 2 people to run for office, any office.......

Is the one who broke the Snowden spy revelations and helped publish them. He also founded the Intercept but left that platform when he came to realize that the claims Trump was a Russian agent were nonsense. He was one of the first to expose the Russiagate scam, his writings helped free a Brazilian politician from jail on false charges. That individual is now the President of Brazil. He has written a lot in defense of Julian Assange, he was one of the leading journalists who exposed how big Tech and the Dem establishment were censoring and banning social media free speech. He was one of the first to show that Hunter Bidens laptop was real and not Russian disinformation. The list goes on and on. He is now in the process of exposing Joe Bidens corruption thru IRS whistleblowers reports. He has railed against this countrys endless wars and so much more.

That's not all together true - when I was a kid I got 3 - 5 vaccines the major being polio & smallpox. Can't remember what the others were.
I caught measles and got the mumps and am now immune to both of those through natural immunity.
Problem is that today kids are getting more then 60 shots - talk about over medicated!, and it shot up because the vaccine act was passed - which BTW also gave the vaccine industry a pass by making it so they can't be sued for damages and made it mandatory for kids to get them - talk about a captured audience!
Also since the number of vaccines has sky rocketed there HAS been a DRAMATIC rise in kids having various types of allergies, autism has dramatically increased along with other chronic diseases.
The only allergies the kids around me were for pollen - No kid I knew had a peanut, gluten or anything other that kids have now a days.
Is there a correlation between over medicating kids with vaccines and those diseases?
I don't know BUT, the US is the only country whose seen the number of chronic diseases increase so dramatically! That tells me that we SHOULD be investigating it to see if there is a correlation.
Why? Because THAT'S the reason the fda, nih, niaih & cdc were created - to protect the public from the pharmaceutical companies bad drugs.
Instead there's a revolving door at those agencies and the pharmaceutical industries - the new head of the fda came from it with ties to amgen, astrazeneca, eli lilly, J & J, merck sharp & D Sanofi-Aventis and the list goes on!!!
So the people who are supposed to be regulating that industry came from it!
Do you really expect them to watch dog them? especially when they're getting a cut from the drugs that they approve?

Nope, and calling anyone who chooses not to take it anti vax is really DUMB.
I'm not getting it because I'm anti taking drugs I don't need.
Add to that I've never gotten shingles so why get a vax for it?
I also didn't take the pain killers they gave me when I dislocated my shoulder or when I blew out my knee or broke my scap.
Does that make me 'anti pain killer' as well?

I'm not anti- vaccines, I've had plenty of them. I'm just a bit cautious when it comes to untested, shake and bake solutions pushed by politicians.
Shingles vaccine, why should I?
Before you even think of answering that, stfu. I'll consult with a doctor, in person, before possibly deciding. You can consult the internet, politicians or whoever you want to before making YOUR decision.

Not an anti-vaxer here, grew up on them.
There's no scientific doubt that generally they work but NOT 100% of the time.
In a population of hundreds of millions, even a tiny % of adverse reactions can number in the thousands.
However, most covid vaccines were created by means of a new and mostly untested method. They do not have the long track record of many previous vaccines.
That's a legitimate discussion point.
Although I personally disagree with Kennedy's anti-vax position, I sincerely hope he does enough damage to torpedo FJB's re-election so that the Dems are forced to get younger less demented candidates in the mix.
When FJB is forced to a debate podium next year, instead of slamming the ham in his basement, he will be an embarrassment and disappointment.
Both parties need new candidates, pronto.

To me that doesn't seem like too much to ask.
And the covid 'vaccines' didn't under go the testing that other vaccines under go.
To to call it a 'vaccine' is also a misnomer - it isn't. It's a therapeutic.
It does nothing that a vaccine is supposed to do i.e. keep you from getting the disease.
And there's no evidence that it doesn't cause more harm then good because no one at the fda, nih or niaih will investigate to see if it's actually a safe drug.

As I've mentioned before, I know dozens of doctors, most of whom are relatives and childhood friends. One is a neurologist who is an expert in migraines. He suggests taking two 500mg Tylenol, four 200mg Advil, and a cup of coffee (optional) all together and he says that works just as well as the most effective migraine mediation. Knocks out the pain in 30 minutes. It works really well, by the way.
Anyhow, I prefer to avoid taking too much medication, so I asked if could take just two Advil. He said "then why take anything at all if you're not going to solve the problem?"
I don't think anyone would prefer to just pop pills or take vaccines unless they truly work and the benefits far outweigh the risks. In the migraine example, it is perfectly safe to take that much Tylenol and Advil as long as you're not allergic to those medications and that you don't drink (Tylenol affects the liver when you're drinking), so why suffer from the pain unnecessarily?
If you don't know about shingles, it generally occurs in people who are over 50 and it is unbelievably painful. Senator Dianne Feinstein took several months to recover from it, and I remember that David Letterman couldn't work for a while when he was recovering from shingles. It is not something that you want to have. But if you're like Atticus Finch and you can deal with the pain--pain that is generally avoidable from a vaccine that is over 90% effective with minimal side effects--then more power to you. You're not hurting anyone but yourself by not taking it and that is absolutely your choice.
Covid was an entirely different animal. Your failure to take the vaccine could have jeopardized your life and the life of others. Is it safe? Considering the billions of people who have taken it with just a tiny percentage that have serious side effects (a tiny fraction of 1%), then the odds are that you would be fine taking it especially since the alternative is death or lasting side effects from catching Covid.
Medicine isn't perfect. Around 10% of all medical knowledge will eventually be proven wrong. I'm sure that our cancer treatments (chemo therapy) will be looked upon as barbaric torture in the future when science finally finds a cure or a more effective treatment. But it is the best that we have now based on our current knowledge. The Covid pandemic required emergency measures to address it. Without the Covid vaccines, many millions more people would have died. And the reports of millions of people getting sick from the vaccines have been flat out wrong.
The problem with RFK Jr. is that he doesn't know jack shit about medicine. He's the poster boy for those who simply question everything but don't have any answers and don't understand conventional solutions. That's why he's dangerous. However, I think most people are smart enough to look past him. Even his own family thinks he's crazy and you would think that at least they would give him the benefit of the doubt if he even had a shred of evidence of what he is warning everyone about.

I was going to let this go because I know Peter from my days doing pro bono for Texas Childrens Hospital and I know he does not care about what malcontents think of him and his work. But then I read he was being stalked by anti-vaxxers.
I can not imagine a more decent, kind hearted, humble, and altruistic gentleman than Peter Hotez. There is not a malignant thought in his gentle soul. He has spent his entire career advocating for and researching medical treatments for the most impoverished areas of the world. He could have made ten times more money with less noble ambitions but he loves practical science and the underserved.
Quite frankly Atticus you are not even one hundredth the man that Peter Hotez is. Your post is shameful, craven, and odious.
