For argument sake, sure there might be one or two that are "bimbos", but those (guys and gals), if they are the A-list, have a whole host of "people". Agents, accountants, SAG people, etc.
Again, for argument's sake, say their "people" are dolts, (I assure you they are not - talk about a cut throat industry, but I digress) - the "favorite actors" STILL will receive residuals, only "new" work stops.
Now, beyond your point, for the actresses that aren't fan favorites, that can't pick & choose their roles, haven't "made it" and are waiting the proverbial tables until their "big break", strike or no strike, they aren't working anyways.

While sherekhan’s line of logic to surmise our favorite actresses will be pushed to escorting as an alternate form of income like in times past makes sense on the surface level… the logic is flawed as the environment has evolved dramatically.
The popularity of OnlyFans and monetizing social media in general has completely changed the equation. Even in other industries that have prioritized ‘image’ as a priority from female employees has suffered with recruitment as the pool of ‘hot chicks’ willing to work has been reduced to a shallow pond. Any hot actresses that would have even considered escorting will undoubtedly turn to current effective alternatives, and probably finding some legit success, before escorting crosses their mind.

Even without the two strikes in Hollywood the economic outlook for the coming year is not good. Whether we are talking about aspiring Hollywood actors or ordinary people, it looks like money is going to be tight for many people over the next couple of years.
Maybe the listings will offer some surprises.

You might be right about the outlook but the economy is surprisingly robust. Unemployment is at record low levels, inflation is declining, profits are rising and all this is happening in light of 10 interest rate increases over the last year. There very well may be a lag period between all the interest rate increases and the impact on the economy but the recession fears seem to be somewhat exaggerated. Unfortunately, these days it is practically impossible to have a non-partisan discussion of the economy. If you are Republican you think the economy is shit even if you are personally doing well and the converse is true for Democrats.

Reality...
Banks are failing and rising rates are part of the problem.
The only thing about inflation that has decreased is the rate that it is increasing. At best inflation has leveled off at an historic 40 year high.
If actresses are considering side work with anything other than acting it means 1 of 2 things..
1) the economy sucks.
2) Hollywood needs to stop producing garbage Woke movie themes.

I agree with Jack. But it's not all that bleak. The economy is giving mixed signals,
but one for sure thing, is that the rate at which inflation is increasing is slowing down.
This does not mean deflation. Prices are still going up, but at a slower rate compared to last year.
Higher interest rates are creating all kinds of problems for banks. Most banks have billions of dollars
in unrealized losses. This is not a good sign of a healthy/thriving economy.
In addition, T bills are off the roof, and the cost to service US debt is really high, which is not good.
Especially with all the unnecessary spending of the current administration like from the "Inflation Reduction Act" and similar programs.
This means that the FED will U-turn at the slightest chance of instability.
