These dudes are playing Hollywood connection again. Question? Where is the Shrimp Boat Captain?
There's actually a few States who need you. Florida and Texas, and there are a few others as well.
Personally I wish you'd all leave, but that's not going to happen. So, the Libtards are making it annoying for you to stay.
Just the other day, I overheard two Libbies talking. One says "what's the worst that can happen.," The other says, "well, Trump could be re-elected. And them hillbillies would start putting them Trump Rambro flags on them 4x4s and parading again"
I dumped my soda and threw my cheeseburger in the street.
Definitely need to build wooden ships, and send the euro trash back to the mother land.

In a statement, Fitch cited three reasons for downgrading the US rating: concerns the US economy is going to deteriorate over the next three years; a high national debt; and repeated political standoffs over managing the country’s finances (specifically, brinksmanship over the country’s self-imposed debt limit, the cap on how much to US can borrow to pay its bills).
This shit doesn’t have to be a mystery knuckleheads

Nope. Not a mystery to me Captain Obvious

There is so much cherry picked stupidity here it is difficult to know where to begin.
Putin decided a very long time ago to invade Ukraine. He knew it would complicate Trumps reelection if he started a European war during his first term. So he waited with very understandable optimism that Trump would be re-elected. Covid. Trump lost. Putins mental health worsened. Biden and NATO unity were disastrously underestimated. And here we are.
As for the economy you are just straight up lying. It could not possibly be looking more sanguine under the circumstances. And the credit downgrade. Seriously?
If your credit score went from extremely good to very good would you lose any sleep?
Inflation is at its lowest level since the spring of 2021, and economic growth, as measured by gross domestic product, was a robust 2.4% on an annualized basis in the second quarter.
Meanwhile, the eurozone only recently crawled out of a recession that started in the last quarter of 2022. And, relative to other G7 nations, the US economy has maintained the strongest GDP growth by far.
In 2024 inflation will be a distant memory, gas prices will be stable, the illusory recession will still not have arrived, the market will still be roaring, unemployment will still be historically low, and the only things you whiny effeminate conservative bitches will have to run on will be Hunter, childrens books, and drag shows.

Now you know why everybody picks on HeyHoboCumOnMyFacePrettyPlease
Everybody just lost 20 - 25% buying power since FJB started tripping on stairways
But, nothing to see here, it's all good
Meanwhile, you'd have to be Helen Keller to not be able to see the pandering influence peddling of Hunter and FJB.
It's fine to hate on Trump, he's eminently hatable
But, why in fuck give a pass to FJB??
Pretend for a moment he's Republican and your inner hater will come alive.

HeyI'm a liar:
Do you honestly think anyone believes a word that comes from your mouth?
If you think anyone takes you seriously, answer me this.
If the credit downgrade happened during Trump's presidency.... would you make the same stupid ass excuses that you are for "your guy"
Bitch please.

Tom, the Wikipedia link that you linked clearly says
"Russian military intervention in the Syrian civil war began in September 2015, after a request by Assad government for military aid"
Request for help does not mean an invasion. They're two different things.
Please read the source below
"CIA operatives and US special operations troops have trained and armed nearly 10,000 rebel fighters at a cost of $1 billion a year."
We've always been in everyone's business since the founding fathers stepped foot here. The CIA has overthrown so many governments, and is involved in almost every conflict that exists either directly or in-directly, and these are facts.
If you seriously believe the CIA had nothing do with Syria and Russia "invaded Syria" then I feel sorry for you for how uneducated and brain washed you are. Please read and educate yourself.

OP says, "America [credit rating] has been downgraded twice in my lifetime. Joe Biden was in the White House both times. In between we had Trump and no downgrades."
Because the so-called-budget-cutting Republicans will give a Republican President (Trump, GW Bush, etc.) the budget he asks for and say "Yessir!" on raising the debt ceiling.
They only get suddenly concerned about the debt-ceiling when the President is a Democrat.
This is just blatant hypocrisy, not Republican superiority!
|
|
Did someone mention Republican hypocrisy?
Go on, turn me on with naughty language as Trumptards get their arguments proven wrong.
Again and again.
And again.
Why was the US downgraded?
“ The agency based its decision in part on increased polarization and aggression in the country’s political climate, was visible in the Jan. 6 insurrection, which the agency highlighted in meetings with the Treasury ahead of the downgrade.”
Fitch Credit Agency
|
|
Here’s the real quote that shitcan edited down
"It was something that we highlighted because it just is a reflection of the deterioration in governance, it's one of many," he said.
"You have the debt ceiling, you have Jan. 6. Clearly, if you look at polarization with both parties ... the Democrats have gone further left and Republicans further right, so the middle is kind of falling apart basically," Francis said, adding "we don't fault one party or the other for the fiscal situation."

@Hey1 is absolutely right.
The economy is doing surprisingly well under Biden. Inflation is down to 3%, closing in on the Fed's 2% target. The new term Bidenomics is being thrown around by the likes of Morgan Stanley, which now claims that the likelihood of a recession has dropped to 20% under Biden's economic policies. Republicans will always criticize Biden despite the facts.
And one of the main reasons why Finch downgraded the country's credit rating was because of the Debt Ceiling fight, which was completely manufactured by Republicans. Democrats voted to raise the Debt Ceiling limit under Trump three times without any fighting, but the Republican shitheads recently used raising it as leverage when negotiating the budget. Do you remember the stock market dropping because of it? There are consequences for Republican stupidity, and to turn around and blame it on Biden just makes you all sound dumb.
Linked:
Morgan Stanley credits Bidenomics for ‘much stronger’ than expected GDP growth
President Joe Biden’s economic policies drove an unexpected economic surge that has forced Morgan Stanley to make a “sizable upward revision” in its GDP forecasts.
Biden’s 2021 infrastructure bill has created “a boom in large-scale infrastructure,” wrote MS analysts, while domestic business investment “is rebounding, led by manufacturing.”
|
|
The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. government can't pay its own bills. ... I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America's debt limit.”
Barack Obama

|
I'm shocked at all the bloviating over Bidenomics working out. I dont know what world these liberals are living in.
Back in the real world... People are losing jobs, important sectors aren't doing well, future guidance is getting more tepid, and more layoffs are forthcoming.
MA1 must be citing fake news sources again.
|
|
My employer just pulled new hire reqs world wide. Total hiring freeze and another round of cuts looms.
Bidenomics is fucking nonsense.
I know it's a day of fucking stupidity when MA1 writes "Hey1 is actually right... "
|

What concocted bullshit story of Biden wisdom will the left concoct when more banks start failing again in the next 30 to 60 days.
|

Lol at MA1 saying the economy is going well lol. That’s exactly what a rich old faggot leftie would say.
|
|
Disclaimer: I’m joking MA1, it’s a joke!
|
|
OP
Your MAGA logic is flawless.
Bravo
|
|
Inflation is down to 3%, closing in on the Fed's 2% target
Always remember.....inflation measures the increase in prices from the previous period.
We got fucked with 5% and 8% annual inflation for 2021 and 2022. Inflation compounds, like all interest. The current 3% is compounded on those previous increases.
So, we have to see deflation of those amounts or increases in wages for those amounts before we get back to where we were pre-Biden.
Prices are at decades high levels and even if we get to 0% inflation, we are still carrying around the 13.4% compounded inflation of the past 2 years.
If someone costs $100 and then it is inflated by 5%, it now costs $105. Then if that cost is inflated 8%, it now costs $113.40. So now you are crowing about 3% inflation, so that item will now cost $116.80.....
Remember, it orginally cost $100, so you are happy it is now costing almost $117.....
|
|
if something costs...oops.
Of course, maybe the someone costs is appropriate for this site...LOL.
|
|
Inflation is a global issue, it's not just us, many of our peer countries are in worse shape than we are in that regard.
Is there a solution for this? In a capitalistic society you can't tell corporations how much they can charge for bread. Like Trump had the unlucky timing of having Covid during his term, Biden has the after effects of all of the Stimmies, PPP loans and leaches that have forgotten that they need to work.
|
|
Just to clarify -
I consider it MAGA logic to expect that inflation wasn't going to happen after the various pandemic bailouts which were voted and approved by Congress and ultimately signed by Trump - and then blaming it on Biden.
in a sense, we all did this.
If you pay taxes you'll recall the Covid bailout letter with Trumps VERY BIGLY signature at the bottom. Republicans and Democrats alike took benefits. Yay
Next thing you'll be blaming Billy Carter... I mean Hunter Biden for the economic woes and bank closures that Jack Rabbit sees on the horizon. He is a Jackrabbit, so skittish makes sense.
MAGA or Libtard or just idiot describes anyone who thinks that oil and gas pricing is something that a US President has much to do with. Why don't you give the president of ExxonMobil a ring?
They just posted 7.9 billion profits for the quarter.
Free Speech not withstanding, why does this blog exist ?
Anyone?
|
|
frank.
The first round of bailouts were needed. After that, Joe and the dems piled them on when clearly the economy did not need them and all it did was encourage more people to keep from working...

@Eulogy
Please post a link to that quote from Obama. I suspect the context is relevant.
I copied and pasted a section of Obama's comments on the Debt Limit below (and linked). As you can see, Republicans were playing the same games back then and he knew it was necessary to increase the debt limit to avert economic disaster.
Beyond that, we avoid the fact that Trump ran up the deficit during his one term to the tune of $7.8 trillion.
Biden's spending, however, has resulted in increased GDP and has prevented job losses despite rising interest rates meant to curb inflation, which has been successful.
President Obama on the Debt Limit: "Now is the Time to Go Ahead and Make the Tough Choices"
June 29, 2011
. . .
On Addressing Debt Limit:
By August 2nd, we run out of tools to make sure that all our bills are paid. So that is a hard deadline. And I want everybody to understand that this is a jobs issue. This is not an abstraction. If the United States government, for the first time, cannot pay its bills, if it defaults, then the consequences for the U.S. economy will be significant and unpredictable. And that is not a good thing.
We don’t know how capital markets will react. But if capital markets suddenly decide, you know what, the U.S. government doesn’t pay its bills, so we’re going to start pulling our money out, and the U.S. Treasury has to start to raise interest rates in order to attract more money to pay off our bills, that means higher interest rates for businesses; that means higher interest rates for consumers. So all the headwinds that we’re already experiencing in terms of the recovery will get worse.
That’s not my opinion. I think that’s a consensus opinion. And that means that job growth will be further stymied, it will be further hampered, as a consequence of that decision. So that’s point number one.
Point number two, I want to address what I’ve been hearing from some quarters, which is, well, maybe this debt limit thing is not really that serious; we can just pay interest on the debt. This idea has been floating around in some Republican circles.
This is the equivalent of me saying, you know what, I will choose to pay my mortgage, but I’m not going to pay my car note. Or I’m going to pay my car note but I’m not going to pay my student loan. Now, a lot of people in really tough situations are having to make those tough decisions. But for the U.S. government to start picking and choosing like that is not going to inspire a lot of confidence.
Moreover, which bills are we going to decide to pay? These guys have said, well, maybe we just pay the interest on -- for bondholders. So are we really going to start paying interest to Chinese who hold treasuries and we’re not going to pay folks their Social Security checks? Or we’re not going to pay to veterans for their disability checks? I mean, which bills, which obligations, are we going to say we don’t have to pay?
And last point I want to make about this. These are bills that Congress ran up. The money has been spent. The obligations have been made. So this isn’t a situation -- I think the American people have to understand this -- this is not a situation where Congress is going to say, okay, we won’t -- we won’t buy this car or we won’t take this vacation. They took the vacation. They bought the car. And now they’re saying maybe we don’t have to pay, or we don’t have to pay as fast as we said we were going to, or -- that’s not how responsible families act. And we’re the greatest nation on Earth, and we can’t act that way.
. . .
|
|
Of course the context is relevant, and you will somehow try not twist it into something that supports your ideology
Here is the quote from the liar in cheif
|
|
"I copied and pasted a section of Obama's comments on the Debt Limit below (and linked). As you can see, Republicans were playing the same games back then and he knew it was necessary to increase the debt limit to avert economic disaster."
*TLDR dipshit, who cares what Obama said
Here's the facts:
Accepting the "Increase the Debt Limit" argument is a fallacy.
If the Federal government simply reduced the RATE of increase or even cut spending for once, just as you would your own household checkbook when things are tight.........we wouldn't even be having this stupid vote every few years.
It's total bullshit.
No matter how much in total taxes raised by the Feds, somehow or other spending gets increased just a little bit more and we're in permanent servitude.
Frankly, I wonder if that's the game plan by Progressives.
Get us to 125% or more debt to GDP so the gears seize up and they'll justify the bureaucratic takeover of just about anything and everything. Do we really need 3 million Fed workers, over half who don't even show up anymore?
Too bad the Reps are in on the game to boot, there is NOBODY protecting the American taxpayer and THIS is actually a far greater danger to Democracy than FDT or Climate Change or racism or whatever the latest trope is.
|
|
I agree with every word of the linked article, which criticizes Obama for that 2006 speech, and, in turn, criticizes Republicans for holding the country hostage (that’s what Republicans have done repeatedly) when negotiating policy with the debt ceiling which should be off limits.
It is also particularly dumb for Obama to deliver such a speech when two years later he had to deal with the subprime loan crisis by injecting $800 million of liquidity into the market to save our banking system. Making blanket statements about almost anything is unwise. And, in case you’re wondering, the US government made several hundred million off of the loan to the banks (including repayment of the loan), so it ultimately reduced the deficit.
Do you notice that I’m happy to criticize Democrats when they do dumb things? How many times have Rabbit, Jazz, AFMadness, Ego, etc. criticized Republicans for doing boneheaded things? Never.
We all know that a majority of what Republicans do is boneheaded, including the unwavering support of a serial criminal former President. Maybe admit when you’re wrong every once in a while. You’ll sound more credible that way.
|
|
Funny how you agree with criticism of no longer relevant libtards
|
|
Maybe 10 years from now you’ll agree that Hunter Biden, and Joe Biden are corrupt and the withdrawal from Afghanistan was a cluster fuck. But no way you’ll agree today when it’s relevant
|
|
I’ve also said that if Joe Biden is proven to be a criminal like Trump, Biden should be impeached as well. No one should get a free pass.
To date, there is absolutely no concrete evidence tying Joe to Hunter’s business dealings. Republicans have a history of having bullshit hearings (I’m sure you’ve heard of McCarthyism) that lead nowhere. Present real evidence and prove a case against Biden or shut the fuck up.
|
|
@ wildlyretarded: No, you shut the fuck up, you partisan, arrogant, pompous, disingenuous, lying piece of shit. Gert the fuck out of here and stop commenting on the political blogs LIKE YOU SAID YOU WOULD, MULTIPLE TIMES. You still believe Trump colluded with Russia, despite plenty of evidence that the whole thing was fake. And now you want to see evidence that Biden is a crook? Hunter is fucking recorded telling his own daughter that he pays the family bills,, and that when he's in charge, he won't take half of everyone's income LIKE HIS DAD. Hubter is on record as saying that his dad is in the room while threatening a Chinese businessman. Biden bragged about removing a Ukranian prosecutor who stood in the way of Hunter and Burisma. If Biden took a shit down your throat, which I wish he would, you'd STILL ask for evidence that he did so. Ii tried being civil. You just took advantage of it. Now fuck off.
Everyone else, have a nice day.
|
|
amusing...tell me how Joe Biden got to a net worth of over 8 million, and a majority of that money can AFTER he left office as Vice President?????
Oh, that's right, speaking engagements and book deals.....
|
|
Ricosuave drops MA1 with an overhand right lmfaooo.
|
|
Rico/Granite,
Let’s enter your blog post into evidence and convict Hunter and Joe Biden because Republicans already admitted they don’t have direct evidence tying Joe with Hunter’s business dealings you whining little bitch.
Are you not the most partisan clown in these blogs? When have you criticized Trump and his enablers where there is a mountain of evidence against him?
I’ve always found you to be the biggest snowflake in these blogs. And you’ve proven yourself to be the piece of shit biased clown that you accuse others of being.
Now run along and create a new handle.
|
|
And here comes Ego, a clown who can’t think for himself.
|
|
Oh fuck you again, asshole. Who was it who called everyone who voted for Trump a racist? Who is it who puts himself above everyone else on these blogs? Who is it who actually said that he's here to help the independent and undecided see the truth/? IT WAS YOU, you colossally arrogant, pseudo-intellectual fuck. And you have the galls to insult people and then turn around and call them whiners and snowflakes when they stand up to your bullshit? Typical keyboard bully, dick move.
|
|
And for the record, I've fucking lost track of the number of times I've criticized Trump as a person. That's another one of your bullshit tactics : pretend that you have never encountered evidence that contradicts your position. Fuck off.
