Good to know. Pretty sure it’s still illegal to make death threats against the president. Not saying that justifies killing him since he’s a 75-year-old man who probably has mental issues and he was in his own home. But they definitely had an obligation to observe him and the right to detain him. For me, this comes down to whether he was armed or not.

But when criminals are injured resisting arrest, while waving around a pistol and under the influence of drugs it’s automatically assume the police are at fault.
