Does a little pre gaming help? Liquid courage can be great for social anxiety just don’t over do it.

When you look in the mirror, you are seeing your best friend. Believe in yourself, and like yourself. For whatever reason, some people just love to put you down or be critical of you. When they do, ask yourself if there is any merit to their criticism, and if not, just blow them off. If there is truth, then you have the ability to make adjustments. Just like who you are, and if you don't make those changes so you do.

Honestly I went through the same,
the best thing that works for me is believing in yourself
and don’t care too much of what others think because i feel life is too short!!!

Not mine, suggested by my therapist:
Anxiety and excitement are both aroused emotions. When you have anxiety, fool yourself by thinking you are excited. It will make you feel better.
I can only walk around so aroused but it has helped me a bit from time to time.

anxiety is a real bitch and my guess is 99% or people dealing with mental health - anxiety is probably on top of their issues.
probably also reason these types of RX are extremely popular
maybe you can find a weed which is calming and apply microdosing
meditation
exercise
self talk to the mirror
put away the insta

One tip would be to build confidence by starting small. Tell yourself that you'll go to the bar (or any other thing you're anxious about) and only stay for 15 min. At 15 minutes, feel free to head home if you're not enjoying it, or stay longer if you are.
The next time you think about going, you'll have a little more confidence that you can do it because you've done it in the past. You can stay longer each time, and each time you'll get a little more confident.
A lot of times anxiety comes because we don't feel confident in doing something (maybe we've never done it or we tried it and it didn't go well in the past), but if you can build up your confidence it'll make things a lot easier.
You can look up the confidence/competence loop =) It also applies to any other thing in life.

Are we talking social anxiety or anxiety due to chemical imbalances in the brain ?
If social anxiety, lots of great advice in this blog. If you suffer anxiety due to a chemical imbalance, you need to consult with a Physician.
