Sucks for the Dodgers
If he has Tommy John surgery will he be able to bat next year?
He has already had one Tommy John surgery can he have two and pitch again?
He can hit, he can throw over a hundred, and he can run like a deer.
IDK if he can pitch again after two Tommy John's but I doubt he would sign with a team that would rule him out as a pitcher completely.
It would have been cool to see him in LA, but i’m happy it didn’t happen after the fact that we took him on board.
Angels probably resign him now, he won't be offered as much as he was going to get with pitching status being influx. That actually benefits the Angels.
Former Angels players are coming out how Angels are cheap in the training room and medical staff.
Not that I think Ohtani would blame the Angels for his injuries but i bet he believes a new start somewhere else is needed.
stop it
saw his buddy youtube online try and blame the angels for bleeding ohtani dry(wrote him and said he lost a viewer forever...him and the girl(angel sideline girl...still like to fuck though)
go fuck yourself dude...he was on a mission for a historical season as an individual
fucking LIB shit to start blaming someone
It is always someone's fault.
Ohtani may have pushed his limits a bit too far.
Wow, watching him is unbelievable.
Don’t shoot messenger. This from former Angels.
Arte is known for being weirdly cheap. I have seen reports that Ohtani uses his own people and not Angels staff for scouting and medical. So there is that.
Dude puts everything on the line for this shit organization and this happens. Life isn’t fair.
you're a fucking moron...WTF?
btw he's paid 30m this year to excel. some players do and most don't
he also gets another 40m from sponsorships to do WELL.
the dude was in the middle of an individual historic season...NEVER been done before
please STFU
and if he succeeded...he had realistic visions of a 600-700m contract...plus 50m year extra from sponsors...he got to dictate what he wanted to do for the most part
nothing to do with squeezing all they can out of him...he made the decisions. would assume if he signs a long-term DEAL with a team...where they are on the HOOK...they will make the fucking decisions at that point. ohtaini had all the leverage to do as he wanted
arte CHEAP on scouting and it's killed the org with lack of foreign players. all the teams winning? have key foreign players gotten pretty cheaply...makes you SICK to see how cheap. but they are getting back into it...scouting.
medical? was always talked about...they had a RUN of TJ's that were way out of the norm...BUT also could be it was your FAV team and seemed that way
they all go to the BEST doctors for procedures
ohtani came to the organization with a TJ problem.
assume if they sign him again...they will add a FEW to the staff.
we do have some players making 35m a year that can't seem to get off the fucking DL once they sign the deal
Ohtani pitched for Japan in the "World Baseball Classic". He was training for it in January and carried the team to be the champs before the MLB season began. His arm has been tired for the last month. No surprise his arm blew out.
2nd TJ surgery a death blow to a pitcher.
Maybe hitting still a possibility but I hope the Dodgers pass on him
Lmao
Angels GM says they didn’t bother running tests on Ohtani as he been dealing with arm issues for weeks.
yep...pretty sad. Everyone looking forward to seeing how big a contract he was going to get
couldn't tell by looking at him today...he looked happy and was rolling in the game
I’m not an Angels fan and I’m pretty sad about this.
It’s bad for all of baseball and not just Angels.
