RIP Jimmy
Going to a Jimmy Buffet concert redefined tailgating.
"Come Monday It'll be all right,
Come Monday I'll be holding you tight.
I spent four lonely days in a brown L.A. haze
and I just want you back by my side."

I loved Jimmy's music, always made a bad day better, and great days at the beach or on the water even greater.
RIP Jimmy, you will be sorely missed...
AND FUCK YOU SHITCAN, you commie.

Glad I made it to his last concert 5/6/23 in San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium. His music was like Xanax to my soul, it put me in the right state of mind immediately and I've been doing to his shows for 43 years, so glad I made it and RIP Jimmy. Fucking skin cancer took his life after battling it for 4 years or so. No surprise as his life was typically on the water, in a boat, on a sup............life was worth livin! He said it so, "Getting old isn't for sissies"

I have to say that Jimmy changed my life and the lives of others for the better.
AlterEgo and Yellow continue to be bukkake licking clean up crew, because they are hemaphrodites with limp pinkie dicks and skin rashes that make them so irritable.

sherkahn, yes, he changed my life with his melodies and lifestyle one which I emulate as much as possible. Property in the Caribbean to live my life living it well, next door to Margaritaville though I've only eaten there once. It's an attitude that creates mellowness, peace and tranquility.

saw him at irvine meadows...back in the mid-90s.
lived on the sand for many years...his music always seemed to come on during the weekend BBQs and get-togethers
i think his concert might been the last time ever partook in things bad for the body

Damn, I was at that concert sitting up on the lawn, lol.
Seriously, maybe I saw you there?

They say he was searching for his lost shaker of salt,
And just wasted away.
Some people say that there’s a woman to blame.
The family has requested that instead of a funeral,
Everyone cruise down to
Margaritaville in flip flops for a game of quarters.

|
Did he own Hometown Buffet or Golden Corral?
|
|
yep...on the lawn

Always more a Jimmy Hendrix fan than a Jimmy Buffett fan, but that was a fun concert.

I’ve seen Jimmy at a lot of places across America.
Made a lot of bad decisions later in in the night, but I have to admit never woke up with a hang over.
Lots of Margarita parties this weekend

Likewise, St. Louis, Denver, Los Angeles, Irvine for those I can remember. One time even forgot to close the front door due to pre-gaming, came home to sleepy Irvine, nothing out of order. Pure tequila from God's green earth, no hangovers. Thank God for JB!
