I think that it's obvious from reading just a few of Mildlyamusing1 's comments this evening, that he feels some sort of superiority above others. It seems that if you don't agree with him, nor clearly see and understand his viewpoint, he will fact vomit on you until you just want to strangle the man's fingers so that he cannot type ever again.

What triggered me yesterday is when Ego whipped out the typical conservative grievance that has been repeated in these blogs ad nauseam:
Why are the J6 insurrectionists being prosecuted and given harsh sentences when the BLM demonstrators who looted and caused substantial damage are not being prosecuted?
Beyond the false equivalency that these two groups did essentially the same thing (one was an organized group of extremists who disrupted the peaceful transfer of power and attempted to overthrow the government while the others were opportunists that used the BLM movement for personal gain), I posted a link to an article that dispelled this fallacy (linked here again) showing hundreds were arrested and dozens of BLM demonstrators were prosecuted harshly with many currently serving over 5 years in prison for it. Ego simply blew it off.
Why not concede a point? Why not learn a thing or two and stop repeating the same false information over and over again? And why not stop making ad hominem attacks simply because you don't have an intelligent retort to post?
It's because the whole point of these political blogs is to talk past each other and just fight and argue. Conservatives (generally) don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to these discussions. Sure, liberals have pushed indefensible social positions that I readily agreed is complete bullshit (like biological males that identify as females should be able to compete against females in sports), but when have conservatives conceded anything in these blogs? That's why it's largely useless to argue anything on here.
