Buts he's really just a victim of his surroundings.
He's the Senator from the blue state of New Jersey.
It's Trump's fault.
Yeah CNN is talking about him losing his chair and wondering if he runs for re-election. I'm like...whatever happened to jail?
Even CNN says his actions raised costs for US food companies which means he is as responsible fas anyone or the immense pain and suffering most of the country is feeling when we buy groceries
back in the day a scumbag like that would swim with the fishes
It's becoming apparent that with the number of recent coincidences of food processing plants that have "accidentally" been torched the Govt want to monopolize food production.
"No soup for you!"
Not to mention Bill Gates and the Chinese buying up as much farm land as possible

Of course libtards will call us "conspiracy theorists" even after they start eating Soylent green for breakfast....

DEMOCRAT INDICTED FOR BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION
NEW YORK (Reuters) -U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, a Democrat from New Jersey, and his wife have been charged with bribery offenses in connection with their relationship with three New Jersey businessmen, namely Anthony Soprano, a local sanitation executive, Paulie “Walnuts” Gualtieri, a consultant, and Silvio Dante, a Lodi nightclub owner, federal prosecutors said on Friday.
The U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan accused the defendants of accepting thousands of dollars in bribes in exchange for using Menendez's power and influence as a senator to seek to protect and enrich the businessmen, and benefit a middle eastern nation-state.
Prosecutors said the bribes included cash, gold, payments toward a home mortgage, compensation for a job with minimal requirements, a luxury vehicle and other things of value.
Menendez, the chair of the influential U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and his wife Nadine Menendez, who has been married to the senator since 2020, face three criminal counts each and up to life in a Federal “Pound Me in the Ass” prison.

We must immediately stop the weaponization of the Justice Department and the FBI. Imagine a U.S. attorney appointed by a Democrat bringing an indictment against a leading Democratic senator. Unheard of. Can't believe that a Republican would ever allow something similar to happen in a Republican administration.
But there is hope for poor Senator Menendez. Just hire the lawyers for Ken Paxton. They got that uber corrupt AG off. They surely can do the same for Menendez.

I watched the press briefing and came away with a couple of different observations:
1) What a dog-n-pony show that was! It struck me as somewhat obvious that they were trying to portray an image that the DOJ is not weaponized and will go after either party. Now I don't necessarily think they are, but this was a little over the top and could easily be seen as the Dems throwing one of their own under the bus to portray that image. (no actual allegations on my part - it just seemed very suspicious). But conspiracy theories are sure to follow!
An interesting question that could be posed to Biden; "Did you have any advance notice of this indictment?" If he did, then it could be said that he has probably mislead the public in claiming that he had no advance knowledge of the indictments against DJT because he doesn't get involved with law enforcement actions.
2) When discussing the evidence found in possession of Melendez, the ADA stated, "Some of the envelopes of cash contained Daibe's fingerprints and Daibe's DNA." This immediately made me think of the classified documents case. The FBI probably tested every classified file and both sides of every page within those classified files for both fingerprints and DNA (this is what they do, and they are very good at it). If evidence was found that anyone without the proper security clearance even touched one of those files then it will be a huge problem for them.
It is easy to see how they could have flipped Molly Michael; "We found your prints and DNA on a classified file. You don't have a security clearance to handle such things. We are going to charge you with espionage, which carries very stiff prison sentences (if not the death penalty) unless you tell us what really happened! Blah, blah, blah! Go ahead and talk to your attorney but you have 24 hours to decide." Boom - DJT is looking at the undercarriage of a bus!
And yes, you can argue that those files were "automatically" declassified when DJT waved his magic wand, but if you are Molly do you really want to take the chance that argument will hold up in court? Hell no, not when your entire life is on the line and all you need to do is tell the truth!

wow, why are you so angry? you act like a republicans are all saints and have no corruption in their party. here's a fun fact, there's corruption in every corner of the world. now, i would suggest to use this site in the way it was meant to be used instead of a fox news forum. i think you need to release some stress.

Hey Marissa,
The press, particularly the liberal press, has been reporting the allegations against the Senator and his wife for the past two month. It certainly was no surprise to anyone who follows these type of things. Biden would have to be brain dead to not know that the Menendez indictment was imminent. Yes, it was a dog and pony show but so is ever press conference that deals with corruption by politicians.
A crook is a crook. If you don’t believe there are crooks in both parties I feel sorry for you.
"Biden would have to be brain dead to not know that the Menendez indictment was imminent. "
Biden has a solid excuse here... He *IS* actually braindead.

For a "brain-dead" guy, Biden is running a very effective criminal organization. The right-wing lunatics want to impeach him because he is the mastermind of the Biden criminal family, right? The saddest, most-tragic part of our current political culture is that the right-wing lunatics actually believe their political rhetoric. Truly astonishing. Reminds me of football fans that see penalties on every play that doesn't go their way. Let me tell you one thing Jack Rabbit - the earth is actually round. You are a fucking idiot.

Supposedly, this wasn't prominent in the news until it just had to be because Democrats didn't want to talk about corruption by one of their own, and Republicans didn't want any evidence countering their message that there is a two-tier system of justice by the DOJ -- one for Republicans and one for Democrats.
Everyone wants to twist this justice issue into a political issue. How sad is that?
"For a "brain-dead" guy, Biden is running a very effective criminal organization."
Squat finally speaks some truth for once.

Biden set up those LLCs 15 years ago

Yawn.

Menendez been a crook for decades. Lock him up.

Thank you for supporting the Department of Justice.

Yeah CNN is talking about him losing his chair and wondering if he runs for re-election. I'm like...whatever happened to jail?
He was indicted genius. The jail part comes later.
You have been sterilized right? Because we simply can not have more of those polluted genes in the pool.

I want you guys to notice something that should be pretty obvious.
When a Democrat is caught doing something criminal, Democrats call for that person to step down. You saw that with the sexual harassment allegations against Al Franken, and you’re seeing it now with Menendez.
Conversely, when a Republican is caught doing something criminal, Republicans rally support for that person. Matt Gaetz is a good example of this.
Menendez should step down and he should be prosecuted. The evidence against him is substantial.
He lost his chairmanship the LAST TIME he was indicted for taking bribes in 2014. It's time for a serious wakeup call in congress!
But then again, what's all the fuss about? It just politicians (of ALL parties) doing what politicians do! It is this type of corruption that is destroying America, not just limited to any one party. This is why I switched from Republican to Independent.

Oh, fuck you and your disingenuous sophistry, Quat. Biden wasn't always burdened with dementia. And no one ever claimed that he was. He's been in the pocket of the unions since he entered office. He's been having Hunter go around to collect money for him and and his family for years. When he still had control of his faculties. It's only recently that's he's become a hollow shell of a man, and that's relevant to his ability to handle current issues as well as to the question of who's actually running the country. But he STILL has to answer for the corruption that he started practicing years ago.
This shouldn't have to be explained to you. You're being deliberately obtuse. Asshole.

Sorry MA1 but that deafening silence is democrats not saying a fucking thing about Hillary and Biden and the Epstein client list
And Pelosi's insider trading, Adam Schiff's claims to have proof Trump colluded with Russians, etc
Yeah, plenty of Dems called for Hillary, Bill, Barack, Teddy, Eric, Maxine, Willie, and Marion to step down. Marion actually got elected to mayor instead of going away in disgrace. Fuck you and your sophistry, too, MA1. And Franken was a token sacrifice.
The case against Gaetz was dropped by the DOJ.
The Gaetz family was also the target of a $25M wire fraud scheme by someone who was indicted and subsequently plead guilty.
Isn’t Gaetz currently being investigated by the House Ethics Committee?
Biden should be sleeping next to Paul Costellano.
Gaetz was thrown under the bus by his friend who is being indicted in Florida. Gaetz was given a pass and you know it.
What about Santos, you fucking clowns? Why haven’t Republicans called for him to step down? I guess making up his entire resume is fine with everyone.
I also don’t like Pelosi’s reluctance to pass a law that would prevent those in Congress from owning individual stocks when she was Speaker, but the rest of the garbage that Republicans accuse Democrats of doing requires at least a minimal amount of evidence of wrongdoing. Republicans claim a lot to shit is happening but have no evidence to back it up.
Many Republicans in the House are clowns, especially those in the Freedom Caucus and will allege anything that Trump asks them to allege to help hurt Biden to help Trump in 2024.
And Rico, it’s nice to see that you continue to be a whining little bitch. Some people never change.
Get a new routine, dude. Whenever someone calls you out on your bullshit, your predictable responses are to call them stupid, reference a biased and poorly thought-out article, or call them a whiny bitch. That's all you have. Fuck off, you arrogant, fraudulent piece of shit.
Freedom caucus and the squad both need to go. The aged and decrepit need to go. The thoroughly corrupt need to go. Drain the swamp!
Trump failed. Time for RFK Jr. I’ve always wanted to vote for a Kennedy…

Rico
Re-read what you post. Read it aloud and please admit that all you hear is a whining clown.
Did I not say that Melendez needs to be prosecuted and should step down as Senator? When did any of you argue against shady Republicans? If it’s happened, it’s exceedingly rare because ethics don’t matter to any of you.
And I call it as I see it in these blogs. I’m not going to allege something different for the sake of variety.

Posting on blogs is less productive than masturbation. Less fun too.

^ phew, that sure is a lot of whining
Sounds like a dog locked in the house that needs to take a big shit
