I think AFN’s account got hacked and a Russian bot is typing for him.
Or he is off his meds again.

Blue balls.
Now go check the IP address.

Check out the home insurance industry and the areas impacted by climate change. Virtually uninsurable.
You think climate change is fake? When get in the insurance industry and fill the void and make a shitload of money!
|

Wait, did everyone go to a party and you all are hung over?
I cannot understand the logic behind what you are writing, and posts so far seem to be skipping in-between ideas.

Insurance industry...great point!
Do you think all the globalists like Obama and Oprah buying up beach front property are NOT getting Insurance?
No insurance company would fund a loan for a multi million dollar beach front mansion on a 30 year term if "the sea level is rising".

^ kool-aid IV push
Seriously, is there any time you're NOT a tool?
Let's see, State of Ca and the Fed guvmint completely mismanage forest resources for over 40 years (well documented), Warden Newsome allows PG&E to burn down forests and kill hundreds of people, guvmint fails repeatedly to simply follow the laws/rules/regs they already have on the books but......oh yeah, they conveniently blame it on "climate change", so I'll believe whatever they say and let them off the hook. This is why you're a tool.
People are allowed to build in flood zones, fire prone areas, property values go up while the State of CA forces insurance companies to under-price for risk in order to give consumers a "break".........oh and it's "climate change"....
Latest news?
Bonta and Gruesome are now suing 5 oil companies for being a "public nuisance", lol.
Forget that 59,000 Californians work directly in the industry, these companies generate $40 billion a year in tax revenues to state, local guvvies and school districts....not to mention the millions of Californians (majority by far) who depend on fossil fuels to power their cars, homes, businesses, etc.
BUT wait, look at this bright shiny thing called "climate change" and that sleight-of-mind allows the pols to misdirect your weak, failing brain to give them coverage for their consistent fucking up.
Hopefully, your home burns down just before your lot is washed away to become no longer buildable and you are homeless begging in the streets to give gloom guy a blowie for a couple of bucks.
What a tool..........

For Rod, obviously...........the only true tool I see here

You must be living in the past, GoBalls.
You are only allowed if you can afford to, and Newsom has been strong arming insurance companies to make sure they service areas where the threat of climate change damage is so high no one will touch it, no one will be allowed to create jobs in the area.

"You are only allowed if you can afford to, and Newsom has been strong arming insurance companies to make sure they service areas where the threat of climate change... Blah Blah blah"
Strong arming is a good way to put it.
But it's a huge racket in my opinion.
Progressive dictators create an 🚨EMERGENCY🚨 and people need to flee the area. Fire and everything is lost ( think Lahaina ) wartorn Ukraine and refugees steam into adjacent countries.
The US send crap loads of money to prop up support services and allow rebuilding.
At the end of it all let's see if BlackRock ends up owning almost everything.
Which BTW is an openly stated goal in the 2030 WEF globalist agenda in case you morons cant connect the dots.
"You will own nothing and be happy"
Stop being idiot Progressive tools.

LOL the rich can take on the risk and perhaps there is some hope that humanity can turn it around and stop climate change.
insurance companies are leaving climate change impacted areas. this is in the news. its fact.
Its been a very profitable business for decades. They see the tides coming and they running.

Yeah and it's got nothing to do with crooked guvmint and thieving fantasist Progs.
"Electric rates are soaring—already two to three times as high as in neighboring states—thanks to California’s aggressive green-energy build-out and the need to make equipment and transmission lines fireproof. Rather than dial back profligate spending and climate policies, Mr. Newsom and his posse are attempting to raid energy companies.
Their smash-and-grab is all the more galling because of their own public misrepresentations that green-energy mandates and subsidies will arrest climate change. They won’t. Nor can the state prosper without fossil fuels.
When a wildfire shut down transmission lines in Del Norte County last month, a local utility used 44 commercial generators to power 13,000 customers and distributed more than 200 residential generators. The generators kept the county powered for nearly a month."
And, in other climate related news..........
"There is an air of surrealism around the climate-change debate in Britain and in much of Europe. The U.K. has dramatically reduced carbon emissions over the past 30 years, thanks in significant part to technological innovation. Its emissions per capita are now down to where they were in the mid-19th century. The British government could mandate tomorrow the elimination of all carbon emissions and a return to agrarian subsistence, and, given the massive and rapidly rising levels of emissions from China, India and elsewhere, it wouldn’t make the slightest difference to the climate."
This realization of the folly and immorality of the moral imperative is gradually seeping through elsewhere in Europe. Other governments are confronting the disastrous consequences of their monomaniacal pursuit of carbon elimination and embracing elements of the modern heresy."
Your secular climate change religion is a failure. Now that "the people" are getting hit with the bill (including thru their insurance rates)......they're beginning to see thru the scam.

The amount of sea level rise due to global warming since 1880 is 8 to 9 inches or a rate of 2.46 mm/yr.
It's not like that rate would continue for 10's of thousands of years because there's only so polar ice to melt and that's not going to cause the average ocean level to rise 30 feet world wide.
I've spent more than enough time on boats to know the following...
What blows me away is that the tide changes in CA by a foot or 2 EVERY DAY depending on location. In some parts of the US ( northern latitudes ) by as much as 6 to 10 feet PER DAY.
Extreme latitudes like Alaska, Baltic deal with 20 to 30 feet tidal variation. This is just due to ocean constriction in the northern hemisphere.
When Tropical storms occur they cause massive sea level rise because the storm brings in extreme low atmospheric pressure causing the elevated tide.
I dont understand how people can get lead into thinking that waterfront properties are going to be underwater someday brought on by global warming.
Anyone charging more for "flood" insurance is doing so because of either inflation and rising repair costs.

Dudes with thousands of posts on HX keep telling you they know it all. Why don’t you believe them?
|
|
They couldn’t possibly be regurgitating the narrative their favorite media source drills into their heads so everyone needs to knuckle under and stop arguing with them.

I hope you're not gonna start crying

Eulogy wrote that from his shill account!

No I didn't!

The irony of a shill shilling from his non-shill account.

Back on topic........
"Newsom has been strong arming insurance companies"
"The insurance companies, which pulled back from the state market, have cut a deal with California Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara to return to the high-risk fire zones, the Los Angeles Times reported. In exchange, the firms would be able to get faster approvals for higher rate increases."
Newsome's arms must be overcooked angel hair pasta.
If this guy and his puppets would act like adults instead of performative clowns, we wouldn't be wallowing in the shit hole of his policies.
Actually, what policy? Hair Newsome couldn't give a tiny rabbit turd, he has moved on to creating all the fundraising committees he needs for his Presi run in 2028.
That is, unless FJB trips on the way down the stairway again and breaks his scrawny neck. Gruesome will be all up Kamala's coochie running for 2024.
Now that might be worth watching.
Gosh, you know what's weird?
I didn't read any of this in my favorite media source, hmmmmmm.

@GBD, By 2028, it's doubtful that Dem policies will have accomplished very much,
and so what has Newsom accomplished as governor? Not much.
I can't imagine Dems being in power after 2024. Joe becomes POTUS and all
hell breaks loose, not to mention that we find out that he's a crook.
More misery to come with the Dems in power.
I wonder how many more millions of illegals will cross the border before it's
finally shut down?
I waiting for the complaint that there are too many English speaking people on HX.
Anyone, here recognize that Dem policies are bad for HX?

Climate change has always been happening. It's an issue because the people who think we're better off with electric cars that use diesel power to charge them think squawking climate change allows them to place blame on anyone who disagrees or works in the oil industry. Typically they have never thought of not having a baseball team of babies.
The poles have reversed north and south and the oil companies weren't around.
All sorts of changes happen everyday on this earth and will until the Sun supernovas. Then it's over, until then the earth will be just fine. Humans, probably not so much because of the numbers of us devouring resources and making lots of waste so stop trying to blame everything on not being carbon neutral.

Ignorance is bliss.

Couldn't agree more!
We're talking about Prog fantasists and their secular climate change religion, right?
