he also picketed with the UAW, fool he is..
btw, Ford pulled the plug on the Battery factory they were planning in Michigan
3.5b investment, now they are citing concerns about its ability to competitively operate the plant at a time when it remains locked in broader contract negotiations.
2500 jobs
take that Michigan and FJB

There's a great meme where Joe says UAW workers deserve 300 days vacation just like he does lol
Picketed with the UAW... What a joke.
Surprised they didn't string him up as a pinata.
Joe should go to New York and visit the few remaing people that respect him, the illegal migrants sleeping on sidewalks in front of hotels.

Am I wrong to think Biden has a long history of being pro-union while Trump has been anti-union for many years?
I’m too confused to know whether you dudes are for or against Amazon, Bezos and of course the Washington Post.
Maybe I should just thank you for doing your part to promote civic engagement as broadly as possible by constantly bitching on widely read Humaniplex blogs.
Good work!

Considering China has the largest percentage of the metals to make the batteries, good on Ford.
Actually a huge deposit of lithium was recently on the Nevada/Oregon border. We don’t need lithium from China when we have enough to last for many decades.
Recently discovered
^ Some people have said that that lithium deposit was discovered over a decade ago. At any rate, how soon do you think mining will begin? Tomorrow? Ten years from now? Never? A party and an administration that shut down Keystone and drilling in Alaska (and let's face it, drilling everywhere) is going to be ok with disturbing the environment on that scale? And who knows how many mining, drilling and development permits have been refused by the California government.
Although I can't make up my mind whether the Dems will welcome a mining operation as an opportunity to exploit .... uhm, I mean, EMPLOY all those illegal immigrants that they have allowed to cross the border. The Dems might try to claim that extracting the lithium is too much of a health hazard.
My bad. The Oregon government. Same same.

The transition to electric vehicles is underway and it’s not going to stop. I favor bringing the supply chain home to the United States. That includes mining the raw materials as well as building the factories that make the cars and the components such as batteries.
If we refuse to bring the supply chain and the jobs it creates home I’m sure China will be happy to accept the money and the jobs.

I know that oil and gas production is very close to reaching a new all-time high in the USA. We are projected to reach it this year no matter what those tired old talking points claim.
Honest question: if oil production is so high, why did Biden tap into our reserves? And why haven't they been replenished? Why did he go to Saudi Arabia to ask them to increase production?
Much of the oil proton the USA is exported as that is often more profitable than selling it here.
I thought everyone knew Biden tapped into oil reserves to lower prices for Americans when world events outside of our control caused them to spike.
Taking oil off the market to replenish our reserves would push prices up according to economic principles of supply and demand. The optimum time to replenish reserves is when oil prices are low.
I think I need to stop wasting my time explaining basic and obvious facts to a small fraction of the members of Humaniplex.
I was going to avoid snarkiness, but if you are going to be an asshole about it ...
And yet, gas prices are higher than ever. Ah, but it's the greedy oil companies, right?
Have you noticed the impact of the war in Ukraine on oil production and exports? There are other factors but I’m done trying to educate those who can’t accept facts. Try to figure it out on your own.
And I think you have a good idea there: fuck off. Although like MA1, I suspect that you won't be able to keep your word and stay away, seeing as how we ignorant peons are so in need of your wisdom. Asshole.

"Am I wrong to think Biden has a long history of being pro-union while Trump has been anti-union for many years?"
Yes and Yes
Biden is literally owned by China who stands to benefit from this administration's apparent inability to coordinate or incentivise domestic production of EV's to meet the domestic demand and save US auto worker jobs.
Not sure what the problem is... maybe unions getting too greedy, dont know. We might see the slow destruction of the US auto industry.
But this administration continues to fail at shit that matters like clockwork.
The only reason Joe showed up in Michigan is because Trump announced he would visit.
Lol Trump should start forcing Joe's agenda showing up here and there in battleground states making Joe follow suit. That would be hilarious
Biden tapped into stratgic oil reserves to get gas prices to glitch down for a blip in time when he needed the right optics.
Selling some of it to China sure was hard to explain.
This President is a total fuck up on the daily.
And, he tripped.....again..........coming down the little stairs from the plane, that he has to use cause he can't handle the big people stairs.
Oh yeah, and Amazon!
Time for the short bus with an electric lift chair.
Ok if u want to blame Biden for the US automotive business go ahead but I think that has been in decline way before he became president. I'm not old enough to know when other foreign automotive countries passed the US for reliability..
I do hope the US makes better cars, we have the brain power. Plus I'd love to see American workers succeed.. USA USA
You are going to need to strip mine the Earth for the minerals and we can't do that here. They never have told us where the batteries go when they are done. I am pretty sure there is not much recircling going on.

I always struggle with liberal math.
Libtards outraged that Auto CEOs make $20mm a year which is 300 times the auto workers pay
Libtards totally cool with dipshit Hunter making $10mm from Ukraine selling access to Joe which is 1333 times Ukrainian worker pay
Makes sense. If you are a dipshit who hates your country
Forgot how dumb libtards are so let me connect the dots. Overinflated union pay raises costs on hard working Americans buying American made products. Hunter selling America down the river hurts Americans too.
We need to stop calling conservatives "conservatives" and instead call them corporatists. They're blaming America when multinational corporations are reaping all the profits, and laughing about it. If that's not selling out America, then I don't know what is.

Elon Musk 10.1 billion dollars, tesla worker between 41k and 175 k.

You’re an idiot. People start a business, do the work, take the risk, deserve the profit. What is mind-boggling is that when somebody looks at somebody else who is paying 50% of every penny he earns in taxes, and then paying taxes on everything he buys and paying taxes on everything that he earns from his investments, and tells him you need to do more because you’re not doing your fair share. Fuck you and your fair share. Don’t tell me what my fair share of my earnings are to give to you to waste
really, do you think the rich pay their fair share of taxes.. cry me a river..
their freaking accountants find every loop hole in the book, while others have to subsidize them
Question could save you thousands of dollars
Click the link please.
The rich don’t. Because the democrats give them tax breaks. Who kept tax deductions for state and local taxes? And who’s fighting tooth and nail to unwind that? And who benefits? The rich
The rich are the cheapest people out there.. they wont even let go of a penny. And now ur saying they want to change the laws to they can give their money away.. please what world are you living in..
Go to beverly hills and knock on a door and see how fast they calling security on u..

Cut not kept. Fucking dictation app gets worse and worse
This guy's from the People's Republic of Santa Monica, you're be wasting your breath.
Isn't this like the 50th time somebody had to post the IRS publication showing who actually pays the most taxes.
This shit is so simple, about 30%, or slightly higher, of the genpop is the personality type that has the following attributes:
#1. They feel powerless
#2. The world is against them
This is your basic union member or communist. By playing victim, they get some power or feeling of control back.
The flip side is the person who feels they have power and the world is with them (or, at least benign)
This is your small biz person, libertarian, etc.
If you talk like 310guy, you are a victim, otherwise known as a lover.
And, you parrot the latest LA Times headline and pay no heed to facts or reality.
Good luck arguing with this one.
Bwahaha.....
*loser, not lover!
lol.. dumb fuck if there were no unions.. ud still have child labor and working 12 hour days, and a lot more things pensions, health care and the list goes on and on
so yes i love the union..
and nice deflection bro.. do i like living in santa monica.. all take it all day over fucking white ass fullerton

So wtf is this shit going on about Amazon and Old Bones Joe?
The Biden administration was joined by 17 states in the lawsuit against Amazon. All the states have Democratic AGs, except OK. The AG of OK is Gentner Drummond a hard-core, right-winger. Makes you wonder if there is more to the Amazon case than an attack by the Dems.
a310guy is yet another "smarter than you" guy who comes on here and says something stupid and commits TOS violations. Those things you mention don't happen in non union industries because there are laws against them.
smh at how dumb you peeps can be on every level
Quat....because of one right winger?
everyone knows the DNC owns corporate america, maybe amazon didnt want to pay "protection" fees.
so yeah, the rich are now the dems, they are the ones who are seeking tax breaks.
Trump gave tax breaks mainly to small bizz owners, not corps - actually he nailed some corps to the wall as they had tax shelters overseas.
I think it's the globalist credit bankers who run the WEF that have the UN, WHO, MSM and the DNC on a string.
They decide who is a "threat to Democracy" on any given day of the week.
Yeah... 17 Democrats and most likely a RINO.
That's what I would call a moderate Uni-party response.

Meanwhile target closing stores in Seattle, SF, Portland and other libtard cities which don’t prosecute theft lol. Who could see this coming?
