I love California!
|
|
Cali is the best!!!!
|
|
Love it
|
|
The state is great; just the people suck!!! Except of course all you fine-ass ladies!!!!
|
|
You all need to visit...
|
|
I've been to almost every state.
Missing : New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine from my visits.
Yes, it's expensive here, yes it's crowded here, yes traffic sucks, but overall, it doesn't get any better !

I am once again completely aligned with Edmond on this.
I will add that I've been to every major hub city in the world, including London, Paris, Tokyo, NYC, etc., and nothing compares to the quality of life in California (especially LA and OC). Sure we have earthquakes, and cost of living and homeless issues are a problem, but factoring everything together, there is no better place to live anywhere in the world.
There's a reason why Apple puts "designed in California" on their products. The image of California (beautiful people, weather, innovation, etc.) carries all over the world.

What's not to like California? We got the temperate weather, the beaches, the mountains, the lakes, all within a few hours drive, the diversity of people, the choice of food from variety of ethnicity. You can get the best of almost everything the world has to offer in the great state of California.
We have our share of problems, but where else is better?

Whitelight knows that Fort Lauderdale Florida is the best place to be.

What's not to love about California? You've got to be a libtard to say that.
Great weather for sure, maybe the best anywhere, but I'm not loving the policies.
Born and raised here, and well established, so not leaving, but not sure it is the best place for people starting their working lives. Just too expensive.

Personally I like Charleston, SC for my places to settle down. The weather is awesome, minus the hurricanes. The people are amazing. So kind and neighborly. I once had my radiator go out on me and had 3 regular citizens and the cops pull over to see if I needed help. In LA I would have shot someone for pulling up on me lol. The food is literally off the chain. They're really on their food game tough. In Charleston you can buy beer and wine 24/7 365. Slight problem with spirits as they run ABC stores so your limited to buying by 10 on Saturday night if I remember correctly. They're closed on Sundays. But keep your home bar full and you won't ever have a worry. Or just drink beer or wine on Sunday. I know I did if I forgot to load up on Patron or Ciroc. Services are slower for sure, don't expect to call for your cable or auto insurance and have someone get right back to you. Ain't gonna happen, they live on island time. Cost of living is dirt cheap, gas is super cheap. There's a shitton of snowbirds that come down from Ohio and other parts of the Midwest. But truly it's an enjoyable and extremely affordable place to live. Once the feds seized my businesses I came home because of my family and friends. Still miss the shit out of that place.

I've lived in a lot of places and have traveled to Asia, central and south America, obviously all of north America, Europe and besides Hawaii all fifty us states. I'll always have love for California as it is truly an amazing place but for my money I'd rather be drinking a beer on follly beach

I didn't think it was a political thing to love living in CA. You weigh the good and the bad and make a decision. It is what it is.
Must be hard to be a conservaturd to go through life hating everything around them.

I've lived in California my whole life (I'm 52) and sadly it's turned into a shithole.
One example --- I take the Metro line from Pasadena to Downtown LA and I've seen people doing crack on the train multiple times this year.
I don't travel so I don't know if the rest of the country/world has declined socially but I know social behavior/crime in California is much worse than it's ever been.
