And all the loans were paid back so why does it even matter?...
But yet crime runs rampant in NY and illegal immigrants are overwhelming the city services.

Only thing left is you start putting up links to banned.batshit.videos and then you own the crown.
|

So one guy commits fraud, and all if the sudden it's bad for democracy.
Please explain?

Maybe Biden is a better thief than Trump?
John Gotti got away for years.

“Persecution of Trump”
Goddam you must be extremely stupid.
For decades before he announced he was running Trump had been under multiple civil and criminal investigations, with many of them successful. But he had a lot of “protection.”
Now that has has the arrogance to take his crimes to the next level while POTUS and you believe the fucker is innocent.
Lemming. You’re a lemming on the way to go swimming over the cliffs of Dover.

I'm curious.
If any of you filed for bankruptcy 6 times, what kind of terms do you think you'll get?
Would you even get a loan from any bank?
Why should Trump be given a PASS and allowed to inflate the value of his properties to banks and then turn around and claim to the IRS that they were work much, much less than they were actually worth?
If the guy does something criminal, he should be treated like everyone else. Of course he shouldn't be targeted or be treated more harshly, but that isn't the case here.
You do realize that Trump and his family aren't allowed to have charitable organizations, or be on the boards of any, because they were caught cheating on those as well.
Trump is being punished for his pattern of fraudulent behavior.
Lastly, in anticipation of a bullshit argument, most billionaires (and millionaires) have never filed for bankruptcy because it hurts their a ability to secure loans at good terms.
|
|
I'm just curious, how does a borrower inflate the value of an asset? Doesn't the lender do their due diligence and get their own appraisal of the asset?
Trump haters, please explain. I'll be waiting a long time....
|
|
MA1 are you in such denial you doubt Trump getting loans as real or so naive you don't think banks repeat the same mistakes.
I don't see you complaining about the auto companies getting loans after repeatedly going or flirting with BK
You have blinders on and can't see the forest for the trees.
Also, only 1 in 4 adults plan on getting the new Covid vaccine so yet again looks like average libtard > hx libtard
And oh, in case you missed it, Republicans have proof of wire payment directly to Hunter (n LLC) using Joe's address for the beneficiary
(cue libtards saying it is normal for grown men to use their parents address when getting wires from China...)

Here’s an example from the linked article:
“Among the properties falsely overvalued -- by between $114 million to $207 million -- was Trump's apartment in Manhattan's Trump Tower, whose square footage was given as 30,000 square feet when it is actually 10,996 square feet.
"A discrepancy of this order of magnitude, by a real estate developer sizing up his own living space of decades, can only be considered fraud," the judge said.”
Only a moron would inflate easily verifiable square footage numbers.
|
|
So, you ask how property values can be inflated.
Rs
You look at comps that have been sold in similar buildings. No two properties are exactly the same, including the location, view, quality if the finishing, amenities, etc.
But you’ll typically find two or there that you can say are close. Then you divide the purchase price by the square feet and your get the price per square foot. Generously, let’s say comps will suggest Trump’s apartment is worth $5,000/sf.
X 11,000sf = $55 million
X 30,000sf = $150 million
But what if you claim it’s $8,000/sf, by pulling it out of your ass, because of the Trump name?
X 11,000sf = $88 million
X 30,000sf = $240 million
That’s how it’s done.
|
|
You truly are an idiot. You never address specific issues. How is it over inflated when there are appraisers involved and no complaint for the bank and no loss and therefore no victim? How do you take into account value of Trump brand and volatility in real estate market? properties in SF are trading at 25 to 40 cents on the dollar, owners are defaulting, banks taking losses...and the AG is not going after them.
Its head up their asses and in the sand hateful people like you that enabled Hitler dude. Now fuck off and let me enjoy the sunshine
|
|
No Tom, go back and stick your head back into the port-a-potty and bend over so your ass can please homeless hobos who need something soft to rub against.
Your concepts and ideas are so far fetched and based on poor information is pathetic.
|
|
Wow. Opinion and name calling and no fact or logic. Yeah I feel schooled...not

I didn't finish school either (eye-thr)
But I turned $2.00 into $250.00 I'm just two days.
Now I own a mansion and a yacht.

Meanwhile Biden's classified documents scandal is a dam that is about to bust wide open...
🚨🚨🚨 DISTRACTION. 🚨🚨🚨
But let's talk more about old loans that were paid off and disect the info provided to loan assessor as if they have no responsibility in this matter and it's all Trump's fault.
There's no victim here Libtards...
Get the fuck over it.
|
|
The "victims" testified on behalf of the accused.
Meanwhile, this entire country went into the biggest economic crisis since the depression because borrowers, appraisers, mortgage brokers and realtors ALL lied about property values and income levels and what did we do? We fucking bailed them out. Not one person was charged
Fucking libtards sit back and watch Hillary and Joe sell their country down the river for a buck and want to send Trump to the gas chamber for jaywalking.
It's getting harder and harder to stay zen...
|
|
Wow. Opinion and name calling and no fact or logic.
TTurd
What the fuck do you think you're doing? You're seriously a complete moron who is continually proven to be ignorant of what you post.
It's useless to argue with someone who doesn't understand anything. And I'm serious, Tom, go back to your doublewide and shut the fuck up.
I work with real estate billionaires. You don't understand even basic concepts.
|
|
You know, this is a good example of why I hate posting in these fucking blogs.
You have a moron like TTurd who posts like he knows what he's talking about. You rightly insult his intelligence because only a fucking idiot would confidently post about things he knows nothing about, then you get criticized for insulting a moron's intelligence.
Do you think that you can dial up an appraiser for a $50 million or $100 million property? You're dealing with bank executives that have analysts review the information you provide them. Then the information goes to a committee at the bank that will then approve or reject the loan.
|
|
MA1, you are completely clueless.
The borrower DOES NOT appraise their own asset. The lender DOES.
Are you that stupid?
|
|
+ 💯
I means seriously... these liberals blog like they're flooring it down a dark, dead end alley at 90 mph.
|
|
"I work with real estate billionaires"
So you are barista at a Beverly Hills Starbucks
|
|
Stop whining, MA1.
|
|
fucking MA1 is too libtard to ever understand all this Trump stuff is deflecting from Biden's poor performance.
Too stupid to understand how real estate works even though he blows real estate billionaires in a Starbucks bathroom while they wait for his coworkers to make their lattes
Too stupid to understand that the housing cris was the result of widespread fraud on property valuations for which no one was prosecuted like Trump
Too stupid to understand appraisers and market fluctuations
'
Too stupid to understand the implications of the lenders testifying on his behalf
Too stupid to understand the victims crime when loans are read and there is no default
'
Too stupid to understand what I am spoon feeding him
Too stupid to understand he s stupid
Too stupid

"You know, this is a good example of why I hate posting in these fucking blogs."
And yet, here you are. Is it your compassion which compels you to grace us with your presence?
|

and lol at "why I hate posting on these blogs"
Yet you do incessantly and the reason you hate it is because everyone here is smarter and better informed than you

Rico
I agree, I am absolutely whining.
I sound like you, but with a valid gripe.
|
|
nah you are just a brain fart looking for a home
|
|
If they loaned that kinda money without a physical appraiser measuring the unit, all the bankers should be thrown in prison.
Not knowing the particulars of the case or even giving a shit about it, my guess is that it gets appealed. Then when it's overturned, it shows up on page 82 under the fold with the obits.
Elon is next in line, 2nd most hated by the Prog, after FDT.

Elon's stans are too numerous to take him out via social media. He definitely could use a brush back to recalibrate his pro Russian talking points.

It is fascinating that every redneck in America thinks he is a legal scholar nowadays.
Some idiot said
I'm just curious, how does a borrower inflate the value of an asset? Doesn't the lender do their due diligence and get their own appraisal of the asset?
No. It is actually not legal to do that. An objective AMC appraises assets through contractors for obvious reasons. If the borrower presents fraudulent documents to the appraiser that is a crime.
Another scholar said something about him paying the banks back so who cares. First of all I am reasonably certain he has not paid back all his debt because he never does. Secondly if I rob you and give you the money back that does not mean I did not commit a crime.
It is a mystery to me why none of you are not more ashamed of your lack of erudition, of basic rationality, of fundamental animal instincts. No society in human history has prioritized ignorance over professionalism until America now.

Idk because I wasn't around back then buti think the French in the late 1700's could have put a stiff test to being absolute morons
|

"I sound like you, but with a valid gripe."
Nah. I don't claim I hate doing something yet continue to do it. Nor do I claim that I will do something and continually fail to do it.

LIBERALS
Shaking my head in disgust !
|
|
And TAE told me to tell all the LIBERALS " Hi " , and that he misses you all so much !
|
|
I wish people were not so polarized in their political views.
Trump is not special for sure, but how some of can dislike him so much, that you can't see or acknowledge that he is being prosecuted and persecuted for political reasons is beyond me.
It isn't good for our country to use the judicial branch to to protect or prosecute anyone for political reasons, and it doesn't matter who it is

In case you think this case was about fraud..
SUMMARY JUDGEMENT
That means there was no defense . This was a political persecution and you are next
|
|
Trump's cases are all about fraud lol. Fraudulent electors, falsely claiming that businesses he owed were worth substantially more when it came to get a loan but devalued them when it was time to pay the taxes on them. Writing off business payments that he needed to declare for campaign finance laws. Obstruction of justice when he lied himself but also had subordinates do so as well. He's dead to rights in the MAL case and DC as well as GA both look like he'll be convicted. Not sure where your getting your sources from but here on planet earth and amongst the sane people most people find her broke the laws and should be sentenced. How much time idk? And will it be actual lockup or some type of MAL house arrest? The chickens are coming home to roost and it's not going to be pretty for old Donny Boy lol

Summary Judgement usually means the evidence is so strong and irrefutable that facts in the case are not disputed even by Trump's side. The dispo will show that as a matter of law, there is nothing to argue against those facts proving Trump's Org committed fraud where further litigation is not even necessary as the evidence is so strong and factual against Trump.
Its clear the Banks and lenders are in on it. Or I should say whoever authorized those loans and processed the lending process and appraisal and insurance process. There are only a handful of qualified commercial appraisers. And with a real estate developer like Trump and the billions he owes in leverages against the Banks, its TRUMP that has leverage over the Banks when Trump is the one owing BILLIONS to the lenders. The Banks are more scared than Trump.
No bank manager or CEO would want to be the one in position to take on his bankruptcy or defaults on the loans. Trump is a GOD to those lenders when TRUMP owes in the hundreds of millions and billions. In many cases, those same lender would OFFER Trump more loans to diversify or just to show he can pay back some on "THAT" particular loan so the lender's managers keep their jobs. Or they wait until the next guys come in so those managers aren't on the hook for losing their shirts to Trump.
So clearly there are fraud involved at Trump's end and probably at the Lender's end. But the shareholders of the Lenders might not know that. And since TRUMP is the beneficiary here, he bears all the liabilities and consequences for his actions because with TRUMP creating the fraudulent paper works, he won't be getting those monies.
|

So in essence trump just lied his way into becoming to n
Big to fall lol. Gotta give it to that guy, he knows how to hustle

Liberal-Backrub-Reacharound
Exhibit A:
“ Another scholar said something about him paying the banks back so who cares. First of all I am reasonably certain he has not paid back all his debt because he never does. Secondly if I rob you and give you the money back that does not mean I did not commit a crime. ”
1. Reasonably certain because he never does (opinion)
2. How do you pay back principle and interest if only using stolen funds? Answer is you repaid the loan.

Not a lawyer (unlike MA1), but I read a legal comment elsewhere that summary judgments are for case dismissals not confirmation of guilt. Confirmation of guilt comes from a trial usually by jury.
“Innocent until proven guilty.”
Maybe someone can enlighten us on this.
|
|
One of the judges in one of his many cases has already declared him a crook. Said it plain as day, trump stole the money. As someone with a bit of history going before those judges I tend to believe them lol
|
|
Summary Judgment is when a judge decides a case without the need for a full trial when the facts are overwhelmingly against one party and for the other.
When bringing a summary judgment motion, a party is arguing that there can be no real dispute about material facts, and the moving party is entitled to win the case as a matter of law.
|
|
Let me say this to those who believe that Trump is being politically persecuted.
Wake up.
People have claimed that Trump was a criminal for the last 40 years, a majority of which he was a Democrat. The guy has lied about his wealth since the 80’s. He’s a desperate, pathetic loser. He lost the case bought against him by those who were scammed by him through Trump University. He (and his children) lost the case to ever have a charity, or ever sit on the board of a charity, because of their outright fraud. He lost the rape case. He lost this case and will never be able to do business in New York again.
And he likely will lose all 4 major cases that are pending against him because the evidence against him is overwhelming.
Get it through your thick skulls. The guy you picked for president is a criminal, and a dumb one at that.
Start questioning your judgment rather than the system that is making him pay for his crimes.
|
|
^ Knows doctors, knows billionaires, RE loan expert and is a lawyer! Bravo MA1.
Perhaps you can cite a prior civil case where fraud was alleged by the State AG and guilty summary judgment was granted by a judge? Even better if you could name one in New York.
|
|
flash911
Summary judgement is not that unusual. It is a motion brought by a party claiming that the other party cannot win based on the evidence that has been accepted by the court as fact.
If the court agrees to the motion, the court is essentially saying "there's no point of going to trial" because of the overwhelming evidence for one party and against the other.
I don't think I can explain this more simply.
|
|
The Judge in that case went apeshit on Trump's lawyers, sanctioning them for making frivolous arguments. That doesn't happen often because lawyers know better.
So let me break this down for all of you one more time.
Trump is a disaster.
Trump is guilty of the crimes that he has been alleged to have committed. He's so guilty that his lawyers have been sanctioned AND many are also being prosecuted.
How any of you can continue to support this guy is really amazing. I said a month or two ago that Trump supporters need to be shamed for their poor judgment. Seriously, what's wrong with you people? What more do you need to hear and see to stop supporting him?
What is wrong with you is the question you should be asking. I am serious.
Edmond claimed that no one still supports Trump on HX. That's clearly not the case.
|
|
I’m willing to bet $ this gets overturned on Appeal.
Not saying I’m a know it all, and I don’t have a crystal ball. This ruling and the sanctioning of the lawyers is so over the top that either the appellate court or USSC will take a hard look at it.
I will start a new thread that day quote some of these ridiculous, biased statements.
|
|
There is zero chance this gets overturned on appeal.
Summary judgment means that the party has NO CHANCE of winning. Judges don't like getting overturned on appeal, so they make sure that the facts completely support their decisions.
When was the last time you heard that Trump won anything on appeal?
flash911, seriously start thinking about who you support.
