I was hosting at an Airbnb years ago and after my 2nd client left there was an aggressive knock on the door. It was the owner demanding I leave before he calls the police. He must have been watching or had cameras. Do not trust Airbnb for adult work of any kind !

My place is private and there's plenty of scenery for photos, and videos are very welcome.
Being safe and feeling secure is important.

How can they enforce it?
Any decent photographer who takes pics of AirBNB can upload their images on sites where they brand and register their images for a fee, and get paid for every time their image is used.
Sites like TinEye.
Anyways, the AI for tineye scours the web for similar images at similar geo locations.
Like licensed images from Getty or Adobe.
It’s not instantaneous, but with faster AIs it is weeks instead of months before it’s flagged.

i'd be concerned airbnb have surveillance or sorts, hopefully not in the bedroom but maybe the entryway..
i used to rent filming locations, there are agents out there for that and if you need anything cheap i'd find those on craigs - the more you use the location the better pricing

I would think that having hidden cameras in a vacation rental would open up the owner to massive lawsuits.
Careful of neighbors, noisy across the street old Betty might be watching the house.
Also, the place probably has a "smart" lock - I've got one on my own house.
It tracks when it's unlocked, how it's unlocked (or locked), who unlocked it and will give you an email or text notification if you set it up that way.
Just a thought.

Airbnb allows camera in non private areas (outside, living room, kitchen) and almost all of them have ring cameras these days. It was becoming a big problem in LA when professional porn companies were booking airbnbs for their video shoots.

@SkurferGurl, I wish I had seen this before I booked (and paid for) my hotel. I prefer to give my $ to airbnb / private rental when it's an owner that is sw friendly when possible.

Hell no and I got permanently banned from Airbnb

I got permanently banned from Airbnb while I was in Europe. Booked a week long stay in Croatia, zero problems, booked an overnight in Vatican City, no problems, then booked a night in Zagreb before I flew home. Flew back into Croatia and was informed via email that I was no longer a member of Airbnb. Turns out it took them awhile, and two successful bookings, that I was a convicted felon and therefore ineligible to be a member. Craziest part was when I got home to the states I was sent a hundred dollar credit to book an Airbnb😂😂😂
