You can always track him on the Bill Gates microchip, if you put the app on your phone.
|
|
yeah good question - shits complicated
we have a fam location plan called 360 and just turning it off sends a notification which is probably more suspicious.
i have found i can install the same app on my ipad, activate it and then deactivate on my phone
wasnt even thinnking the car itself has location reporting.

From my knowledge by LAW new cars are required to be traced by GPS in the next 5 years . By this date some cars do not have a tracking device you need to check with the manufacturer . The more expensive the car gets the more it is required to be traced

I have wondered... in my car now and most I have seen, the gps relies on an antenna mounted in the dashboard looking at sky thru windshield, looks like a little hemisphere about an inch in diameter, or mushroom head. Seems a piece of sheet metal might block the signal. Have not tried it though... might try in name of science.
Is gps can't see satellites, it can't establish location.

All of mine have an antenna on the roof.
Best option is to discretely convince the SO that she doesn't need to have the app on her phone. Second best is to have a older project car for fun. "Honey, I'm taking the Model A for a ride."
Third best is to develop a hobby in the vicinity of local hotels. Competitive ironing or something.

My car has a little hemisphere about an inch in diameter mounted in the center of the dash near the bottom of the windshield. But the hemisphere in my car is a sensor for the automatic headlights.

I track my SO all the time and not because I dont trust her but it helps both of us know where she is with the family, when will she arrive somewhere, and believe it or not help her with directions because she's almost always lost.
I've had a family member take one of the cars late at night and I drove to follow and met when they stopped. Grounded.
I track other family members when they take hikes or bike rides. It's a need to know thing as a responsible person.
I use simple after market GPS units you can put on car, in the car trunk, on a bike, or in a backpack.
Now just because this guy you speak of figures out how to turn off the factory installed GPS in his car when he goes to Target then proceeds to drive somewhere else doesn't mean he's un-trackable.
If its possible to disable factory GPS his wife could drive to Target and park by where the car should be. Plus, I cant imagine there wouldn't be some user indication the system has lost contact with the tracked car.
He might get away with games some of the time but he will eventually fuck up if his wife is inclined to use technology to watch him.

Couple of thoughts.
Phones - instead of turning off the phone's location tracking (creating a manual turn off in the events log) - put it in a faraday bag. (keeps signal out/in) - Some foil lined snack bags with the aluminum lining can work, but you need to experiment first with it.
Nothing out of place with a bag of chips (or similar) in your car.
One of the Asian houses that I frequent is across the street from a mall.
Takes a bit of extra time, but park at the mall, walk over. Yes it's a gated complex, but I have yet to having an issue gaining entry on foot.
Should it ever come up, say my car breaks down & has to get towed, better from a Home Depot Parking lot than a "secured" apartment complex.
defeating a cars satellite tracker - if the wife monitors it, that's a tougher issue.

Currently tracking ALL of you thru backdoors into PRISM, XKeyscore and StellarWind.
Many of you have been very naughty, some downright felonious.
Your SO finding out is the least of your worries.
If you should survive the next 24 hours, consider yourself lucky.

The car’s tracking is part of the factory radio. Put in an aftermarket unit and tracking goes away along with the dealership’s ability to track your mileage, which they report to your insurance.

Vehicle GPS will probably be able to be accessed remotely by the account holder(s)
Most if not all new higher end vehicles have some type of gps to track vehicles.

Time to get a burner car...
|
|
Isn't there a way to opt out of tracking?
Or delete the mapping history?
|
|
Heheh... that little 'mushroom' on top of your dash is not your gps antenna.
|
|
Just a thought, but maybe don't be a POS and cheat on your SO. Crazy talk I know.
|
|
^^^^ REALLY ???
"burner car" LoL
Thanks for all the info Gentlemen, keep it coming

Uber from a suitable safe location nearby like ‘the gym’.
Not that anyone would believe I’ve been to a gym.

Anyone can track anyone if they really want to.

So many devices and gadgets are avail at very cheap and reasonable prices, I feel bad for private investigators because it probably keeps them less busy.
|
|
Buy an old reliable sport car and make it a project car to drive around now and then.

I hate GPS. Women are way too expensive nowadays. Biden inflation at work.
|
|
My truck has like a shark fin on top for the sending unit.
I drilled a hole through it and wired a piece of Kryptonite on to it.
I assumed it would block the sending unit.
Then I fucking realized I haven't had a SO since, 09. That would be 1909.

I just bought a new car and fucking salesgirl kept on insisting for me to activate the remote app which has the location services as well. In front of my wife. LOL. They get measured on the activation percentage. But good news is you can not just randomly connect to the app. Main person who holds the account usually has to give access. The access to the GPS features in cars is protected. A jealous wife can not tap into it. Unless she has access to remote apps username and password. Some cars would also show when location is pinged. You literally get a message. Thing is if they get really suspicious then they can find a way to track. Myself when I play, I park my car 10-15 min away from my destination and Uber there and back. And I have burner phone and use burner Uber account too which is in that burner phone. I drive pretty recognizable cars and happened before when someone told someone that they saw my car at one of the universal city hotel valet. LOL. Never again. I also leave my phone in the car and bring my Apple Watch which has my phone number in case someone looking for me. So I can call and text through Apple Watch. But my Apple Watch has no location service. So even if somehow she can track my phone, my car and puts AirTags or any other gps in my car, my car and my phone is 10-15 min away from where I am myself when I play. Last time I parked at mall parking lot 5 miles away from the hotel. Good luck finding me dear.

GPS tracking...
Rule #1: always be where you say you are.
Once, you are suspected, always keep your phone LOCKED.
I had left my phone unlocked...
Curiosity had her looking through my emails, photos on the phone, and text messages... Good thing I don't have a laptop or desktop computer.
Talk about a hurricane happening when she saw me!!!😶🌫️🤬
All the financial records, bank accounts, sales receipts were audited.
It's only communication, I told her.
All my time was accounted for.
GPS on my phone activated. Google maps app tracks your driving, and every stop. Electronic leash...
Rule #2: Learn to cover your tracks.

A lady friend of mine became suspicious of her husband, always secretly texting, laughing during text conversations, etc. He even slept with the phone under his pillow.
One night she plucked the phone from under the pillow. Cracked his code. Got into the phone and found out...about his double life.
He was having rendezvous with gay men at hotels in Newport Beach. There were pictures of him engaging in activities with these men that he met on CL. She got his keys and went through his car and found women's clothes and shoes in his size stashed away in the spare tire compartment of the trunk.
It doesn't always take GPS for the wife to bust your ass. This dude lost it all. She had a prenup. At least she didn't catch the HIV.

Buy the new car! Then go to a large mall like South Coast Plaza and buy a small but nice gift for the wife. From there, take an Uber to and from the session site. If the GPS history, or even a suspicion that he is screwing around arises, the gift will provide an answer that will quell all of those.
Guys don't go to the mall to window shop like girls do so don't forget the gift!

i was always thinking about that stuff...think i was last dude in CALIF with flip phone
those could still be checked, but you know it when it's happening...so leave it

Cheap cheap cheap
dirtytime can't send mail at the moment, but if you unlock some for them, they would certainly appreciate it!
