in a public trail. In many cases the government drops the case because they didn't
want the information to be exposed to the public.
The possible issue that has occured to me is that the information no longer needs to be
classified with the passing of time, so does the govt still have a case?
The Trump fraud trial seems to have a few holes since it appears that no one
has been damaged, yet because he has a different assessment of the value
of his propery, he has committee fraud. The banks had no issues with the
assessment but the govt does, so that constitutes fraud.

In the case of the value of Mar a Lago the value is easily north of $500M based on comps all over the immediate are.
But an activist judge can say "I think the property is $18M therefore Trump committed fraud."

It is kind of funny when the discussions are primarily surrounding the value of Mar-a-Lago and several of his golf courses. By anyone's standard, those are subjective evaluations and could be easily argued in court.
The main problem is when they evaluated an apartment building as if the potential rent income was significantly more that what they were currently realizing. However, they failed to mention that it was under rent control and that the potential rent income was never even possible.
Or how about listing a development at its full retail potential when it wasn't even built yet? There is absolutely not defense for this one.
These two tidbits are probably what the judge was looking at when he said the evidence was pretty clear and issued a summary judgment. Mar-a-Lago is nothing more than a distraction that attempts to pull attention away from the real damaging stuff that there is little or no defense for.

Politicians are often targeted for political reasons, especially by Republicans. Impeaching Biden is an obvious example where Republican witnesses have testified that there isn’t evidence justifying impeaching Biden. Conversely, Trump is a serial criminal who has a mountain of evidence against him. The witnesses in his cases (almost all Republicans, by the way) are very strongly against him, and co-defendants are flipping on Trump. Trump may get a pass simply because it would look bad for the leader of this country to go to jail, but he may not get a pass. Also incarceration in the Georgia case is mandatory if Trump is found guilty.
Please, for the last time. If you’re worried about HX, conservative Christians will be the ones who would shut down this site, not Democrats. Democrats are liberal and open minded. Let that sink in.
