They simply shit the bed. Kershaw was atrocious. Betts and Freeman were abysmal. Their entire team chose that series to play like shit. 100 win team played like a 100 loss team. More disappointing then if they didn't win 100 and the division and went thru the growing pains of losing three former all stars and were starting a bunch of rookies in their place. Their pitching looks hopeful with the young arms playing well in the regular season but Friedman definitely has his work cut out for him this off-season
