Say what you will, I know without a doubt the COVID vaccines saved my life. For most people COVID was unnoticeable or at worst, a mild flu. For those like me, it was far more serious. But for the vaccine, my one terrifying night would have been far worse.

I caught it at the Kobe Bryant memorial service at Staples center in February 2020. Thought I was going to die for almost three weeks. Went to my doctor day 2 and they wanted to send me to the emergency room but the hospital wouldn't accept me because they had no known treatment or cure and it was relatively new so they just sent me home with meds. I have since been vaccinated and boosted and despite multiple known exposures haven't ever been infected. I wholeheartedly support the vaccine.

My doctor, dressed in a fucking space suit lol, told me that the hospital had no known tests and basically no treatment options so they couldn't intake me. This was February of 2020, COVID was brand new and literally unknown other than it was extremely scary. They told my doctor to prescribe me what he normally would and have myself monitor the situation from home. If it got too bad they would of course accept me into emergency. Luckily while I felt like I was dying, I didn't eat anything for a week, I never lost consciousness or had any true life threatening complications. Just felt like I was gonna die lol
