Most analysts suspect Russia blew up the pipeline, some wonder if it was Ukraine. As far as I can tell, the claim that it was the U.S. Navy seems to be from a self-published blog post by the journalist Seymour Hersh that Russia liked, and so they have been pushing it.
You seem to believe Hersh and Russia. I don't. We can have opinions, but neither you nor I are experts. If you read the Wikipedia page about Hersh, he did some great reporting back around 1970, but in recent years it looks to me like he's making stuff up.
This article by Will Hurd, the former Texas Republican congressman, covers my view of it pretty well. I especially like the title:

I don't claim to believe anything, just saw it and figured one of you really smart guys would know the truth..............guess I was wrong again.
This Hersh guy seems to be behind it and I thought it was BS when I saw it.
Apparently, he was an investigative reporter for the NYT and New Yorker mag, shows you what they know. Also, has won a Pulitzer, 5 Polk Awards (who'd he poke?) and dozen of other prizes......which doesn't mean Jack, of course.
Still asking WTF?
Thanks for the article but who the hell is Will Hurd but some nobody congressman from Texas who's running for President........seroiusly?

If it means anything - Seymour 'Sy' Hirsch has been an investigative journalist since the late 60's, when being a journalist actually meant something.
He was the one who broke the story on the Mei Lai massacre and it's cover up.
Which is the story that put him on the map.
So I put more stock into what he's saying then almost any other 'journalist' out there.
And it does make sense that biden/neo cons/the US would want that pipeline disabled if they were trying to cut off money flowing into Russia, german economy be damned.
Not like we haven't done it before.

i don't put anything past this admin. seeing the comments of a few key people in the admin, the smiles....they have a track record and they have the cover of the media
i also don't give a fuck who did it btw...i can totally see putin doing it also. any other country acting on their own behalf? don't think they would chance it...not without the US approval

it is fair game for UKR though...not sure they had the capability to pull it off by themselves without getting caught, but does it really matter? they are getting hundreds of rockets shot at their energy infrastructure per day at times

Sorry man, this blog was just me coming off a 6 month Tequila binge.
I saw a headline in the old newspaper I was barfing into during my withdrawal stage.
Late to the party is my middle name.
From what I hear, you guys already hashed it out and came to a conclusion.
