The Rio used to be the spot for Thanksgiving in Las Vegas.
Just a great spread (buffet), but I haven't been in years and that's all I know
about Thanksgiving - Las Vegas Style.

Thanks, Babe I will definitely check it out.

I go there every year for Thanksgiving. Not for traditional turkey food but I enjoy off the strip restaurants like all the korean bbq and asian foods. Gonna do some paddle boarding in Lake Mead if it's not too windy or possibly go for a hike at Red Rock.

I think the Rio is almost entirely closed except for some shopping stores.
F1 weekend baby!

I worked in Las Vegas for 25 yrs, all the Asian, Indian and other foreigners from LA descend upon the city and by Sat they are gone, the local that aren't working in the service industry get out of town, Right now LV is all in for the F1 race so many thing you want to see like the Bellagio fountains are blocked by grandstands, any high roller worth a stack of chips wouldn't be caught dean in Vegas on Turkey day

Don't go to the Rio!
I stayed at the Rio in March for the PAC 12 championship. I was deeply disappointed. It used to be a great place to stay, but it has gotten dumpy.
