Thanks OP last year work was great in IE bc of all the antivaxxers.
I would still have vaccinated patients, but for the most part they didn't need supplemental oxygen.
The non-vaxxed would need bipap/a nonrebreather to keep upwith oxygen demands. But it was only delaying the inevitable... They would end up intubated, sedated, paralzyed on the ventilator for weeks/months. Only to die...

decisions has shown to be a bad idea. Look at all the damage that has resulted
with this idea that lives must be saved at all costs in regards to covid-19.
The result is lost small businesses, a pending recession, and children behind in education

required to take the vaccine or even tested.

I am thankful for having been double vaxxed and boosted against COVID. Otherwise my own recent encounter with COVID probably would have gone much much worse than it did. As it was, I only had one bad night. But for the vaccinations, I honestly believe I would have gone to the hospital with a serious breathing issue.

It’s really not that hard to see that doing absolutely nothing would have been disastrous. No country did nothing. Even countries that had a shitty response like Brazil or Peru had measures that were significantly different than doing nothing. People seem to not know that.
The measures everywhere reduced contact rates and thus postponed infections significantly, so that by the time the vaccine came around, instead of having died or having gotten extremely ill, the vaccinated and then vaccinated/boosted in large part did ok.
