@Mad, sorry dude, not a right winger, been registered as an independent my whole life. I am the voter you liberals need to convince to vote for your side in order to win in November. And Hunter is under investigation in Delaware. Hence the question.

i was leaning more on the fact 45's investigation is on the federal level. NY is also looking into 45. as long as due process happens, i am ok with it. the extreme right wing has always wanted the heads of people who are not like minded, but are ok when it comes to their people.

@ Mad, The investigation into Hunter is a Federal investigation headed by US Atty David Weiss. They are looking into Hunters business activities. Looking at Tax evasion among other things. So the comparison between the investigations into Trump and Hunter is interesting. And my question stands. Who gets indicted first?

@hyder The investigation has nothing to do with the stuff on Hunters laptop. They are looking at tax evasion on his over seas business earnings, a Fara charge (Foreign Agents Registration Act) and for making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm. Not sure if this falls under the category of bad judgement.

What ever happens Hunter will be last if anything happens at all.
I have no idea why Trump is in DC...
Hunter has been "under investigation" albeit at snail's pace since like 2018 and they have had the laptop since almost that long and not even looked into that.
Anything they do to Hunter will be along the lines of figuring out how wide the charges involving a plea bargain is required. It will be all about how does Hunter walk like Hillary did after destroying evidence which she was to produce under subpoena.
The laptop sits there unnoticed, uninvestigated, even though it links Joe to Hunter's dealings but the DC establishment purposely looks the other way.
Now during that same time or longer Trump has been under active "investigation" by Fed's, State AG's, Congress, you name it,... for heaps of things that they have little to no evidence for and it all proceeds at a frantic pace looking for the next "gotcha" situation.
Has there ever been anyone more dissected and scrutinized in US history?... seriously.

You can tell that an investigation is getting somewhere by the amount of "reliable" sources leaks are funneled to media outlets... said tongue in cheek.
I wonder should Hunter have to pay the taxes on the 10% held for the big guy? And if he should ... did he? And if he didn't did the big guy? Asking for a left leaning friend cus he is too scared to ask ... said something about not wanting to be cancelled.

^ I would agree with one variation. I think that as long as Biden is in office they may not indict Hunter only because it is seen as not a good idea to have the leader of the free world distracted by a family related crisis if it can be avoided. But after Biden is out of office, it will be open season on Hunter.
This political based conspiracy stuff will have a telling effect. I really don't believe that the DOJ/FBI were politically influenced in their investigation of Trump. Trump was, and still is, a bad actor. But by Trump making it a political conspiracy he has forced DOJ/FBI to react; he has forced them to start thinking politically about their actions. If they end up charging Trump with anything then the mind-set of "well we hung someone from the right, so now we need to hang someone from the left to make us appear balanced" is a very real possibility. And once they start playing that game there may be no end to it.
