Yes I picked up a Lyft rider from a med place in Lake Forest with a walker about 55-ish. That 2 days after the first jab she could not walk and was bed ridden for 10 months until she could.Her story, Yes she admits she was Gas Lighted into taking it. Her Doc has applied for disability 3 times and they have denied it everytime, won't give it to her. I told her if they did , they would be admitting GUILT. So don't expect it to happen. Next stop, Homelessness ?

Fortunately I have a great friend/doc who told me not to take the thing.
He got it when it first came out and said because of the side effects he experienced, he was advising his patients NOT to get it.
Instead he put them on the Ivermectin protocol that the Florida group recommended.

First, the linked article indicates that more Republicans died of Covid than Democrats because most of the idiots who refused to get vaccinated were Republican.
How many of these idiots were on HX?
Second, the lawyer mentioned here is a member of the Federalist Society. Yet another right wing goofball.
Third, if you’re still unvaccinated (and are able to get vaccinated), then you’re likely a complete moron who is incapable of comprehending what is or isn’t good for you. Is it really a big loss if you end up suffering/dying from your poor decision making?

A rough estimation:
US death rate associated with (not proven to be caused by) COVID vaccination:
15,937 deaths * 100,000 / 613,000,000 shots given in US ~ 3/100,000
US death rate associated with COVID virus:
1,000,000 deaths * 100,000 / 290,000,000 estimated infections ~ 340/100,000
Death rate is lowered at the very least 5 times by the vaccine, so being conservative, it's now ~70/100,000 (COVID vaccine and subsequent infection) vs. ~340/100,000 (unvaccinated infection), with nearly all deaths coming from the virus itself.
You can adjust this for age however you'd like. You can even reduce by 25% deaths due to being "with COVID," but qualitatively the discrepancy still stands.
The vaccine ain't perfect (understatement), but I'd choose the lesser of two evils, particularly if I had pre-existing conditions.

Why does the govt keep pushing vaccines when the data shows it's
senior citizens who are most likely to die from covid.
The younger you are the less likely you will die of covid.
Children don't need the vaccine.
Generally speaking you have more than a 99% chance of surviving covid-19.
Nature takes its course and many people have natural immunity now.
It's my opinion that fed and state policies did more damage to society
than the virus.

No one can twist your arm and force you to take the vaccine. I am also against that. But don’t come back and regret not taking it. There are many stories of people regretting not taking the vaccine on their deathbeds. And then the family’s of those who die complain that they didn’t know that what they were following in right wing media was misinformation.
Bottom line: the vaccine is safe and effective. The likelihood of it affecting you negatively is very, very low. The benefits far outweigh the potential risks.
I was watching an interview of Professor Scott Galloway yesterday, who I think is brilliant. The interviewer asks about his nephew who died of Covid, and he starts tearing up because his nephew who was 29 and healthy died of Covid despite being one of the members of his family who was the least likely to die from the virus. And he blamed right wing media for discouraging his nephew for getting the vaccine.
I honestly hate to insult people for being dumb or making dumb mistakes, but this is a life or death decision for many of you. Although the risk of death is lower now, the virus isn’t disappearing. Some of you (or your family members) will die because you listened to the wrong people. And that to me is sad.

I don’t know if he’s being malicious by posting obviously false information, or if he’s just not smart enough to know what he’s doing. Regardless, people need to listen to valid sources of information when it comes to your health. Science should not be politicized.

I finally had time to check out the links provided but didn't see the original chart anywhere. If in fact, the CDC actually put out that chart (not just the data) then they should be taken to the wood shed. I believe a more accurate title to the chart would be, "Deaths by disease/infection even though they were vaccinated against it." It is relatively simple to collect data on how many people got the vaccine yet died anyway. But how do you prove that a vaccine actually killed anybody?
Granted, some people got the vaccine and still died from COVID, but that does not mean that they died because of the COVID vaccine (and the inference is disingenuous). With just the information provided, it is impossible to tell if these deaths were attributable to age or underlying medical conditions. Maybe they were old with underling conditions and if they got exposed to COVID there was nothing in the world that was going to save them anyway. And even using the numbers provided: 15,937 deaths from a database population of 10 million = .00159, or .16%, the death rate was significantly lower (less than 1/4 of 1%) than those who did not get the vaccine and died of COVID. By any measure (unless you were a family member of the deceased), this low percentage would be considered acceptable risk.
Again, the interesting thing about statistics is that 2 people can take the same data and present it in slightly different ways that will support 2 different conclusions. Conspiracy theorists understand and use this technique to their advantage. It is the bread and butter of their conspiracy platform and, if they are a podcaster, it is the bread and butter behind their revenue (like Alex Jones).
Anybody can raise their "effective IQ" (maybe not actual IQ) by 10 points by taking a class in probability and statistics at a local junior college. If nothing else, you will learn to recognize when someone is trying to poke butter up your butt with misrepresented data.

The likelihood that the vaccine is dangerous to anyone (unless you’re allergic to it’s ingredients) is essentially zero. And there are very, very few people who are allergic to it’s ingredients.
The truth is that the GOP knows that Republicans are fiercely independent, so they played the “don’t let the government tell you what to do” card because they knew it would play well with conservatives.
When DeSantis was asked if he received the booster shots, he refused to answer. Why? A simple yes or no would do but he didn’t want to alienate the idiots he tricked into believing that getting vaccinated was not necessarily a good thing to do.
The guy went to two Ivy League schools. He knows better. He’s a piece of shit.
All of this started when the Koch brothers spent billions on think tanks and buying politicians to claim that Global Warming wasn’t actually happening. They knew that regulations would curb their business or at the least increase their costs, so they were willing to poison everyone to make a profit. And what better vehicle to spread their misinformation than through the GOP who only cares about making wealthy people wealthier.
But the average person suffers the consequences.
