Sasse was smart and articulate but zero sense of self-preservation.
Now he'll get a cooshy job with a big office at U of Florida for the rest of his life and amass a giant government pension, along with what he will collect for life serving in the Senate, in the HHS, as President at Midland College, teaching at various public universites, and other various government jobs.
Amassing a million dollar a year retirement...that's what he's doing.

the way it was written made it seem that way...if a flaming lib said the same thing about manchin it woulda made some sense. ANYTHING a lib got from sasse was positive.
PUB would never say good riddance to manchin...anything he does to STALL the extra two states or change the courts is a win.
