major isssue is they are not protecting stafford, their offensive defense is not up to par.
if better protection there would be less sacks, less interceptions and more TDs.

|
Definitely the O-Line --- protection breakdowns for Stafford, and the lack of opening holes for their RB's is attributing to many 3 and outs, which makes the Defense have to take too many snaps against them in a less than fully recuperated state of being... It's tantamount to a Boxer getting 20 second rest periods between rounds instead of the full 60 seconds

I agree with the O line comments, but I have always thought that Stafford is a mediocre QB, good, but not upper echelon
Look at the team last year, they sold out on both offense and defense, going to make any QB look better than they are IMHO

|
^ Agree with that Rocky
Stafford is good, but definitely not the upper echelon of the NFL ...
He's always made read / coverage throwing errors in Detroit and now in LA too ...

It would not be good for an organization to win a super bowl but not even make the playoffs the following year.
Any organizational coaching and roster changes made during the off season come into serious question.

My guess - because it's the rams.

^ BINGO

I never knew rams could suck.

They definitely do not look as good as last year that’s for sure! If you look how much money the Denver Broncos spent on Russell Wilson? I’m thinking right about now the Denver Broncos are having buyers remorse!

the stars aligned for Stafford last year, plus he has Cupp . Teams know how to defend a McVea offense...Super Bowl hangover with a much tougher schedule

definitely oline...they can improve it...might need to get the 40-year-old dude to come back, which really could be in the cards. the boys signed a 40-year-old lineman(future HOF'r) a few weeks ago. think he will work out great...at least teach the young draftee how to play...looks like out of all OL draft picks, he's number one so far on PFF. that's always fun, especially if picked in later half of the draft
obj would make em lethal again, once the line is fixed
woods was big receiver for them in the past...they miss him. but signed a good receiver from bears that they haven't got quite working yet.
they also spent all draft capital for a RUN at superbowl last year. so cheap dudes coming up filling holes and contributing are not part of the now and future.

Rocky and Pete. Please help tell a Rams 203 cm 136 kg offensive lineman he not doing his job. Report back his reply

|
Injuries to the offensive line. Stafford will have a 4th different starting center in 6 weeks this Sunday.
|
|
oline will definitely be getting better...or stafford will be out for the year. got beat up in the last game a bit. on plays that were not sacks...those take a toll

jindd1328, you need to start coaching some football. I'd pay to see a lingerie football game between jindd1328 and rita269n. We would call it the Monterey Park Bowl.

Rams win!

Here’s a definitive list of every team headed for the playoffs that has used 12 different O line combinations in 12 games.
Stafford is a more than adequate quarterback, but no quarterback looks good when he doesn’t have time to throw. No team looks good trying to run play action when they don’t have a functional run game. No time. No run game. And only 1 viable receiver (Kupp) for most of the year? This is what a losing team looks like.
Fix the O-line. That frees up a run game. That frees up play action. That allows time for plays to develop and more receivers active.

That win took guts, gotta give them that. Raiders helped by being the Classic Raiders of old, but the Rams hung in tough and took advantage of created opportunities. No “quit” in their game.

The Super Bowl Hangover is real.
