I think she is spot on about this.

Man, what ever anyone thinks about that girl the one thing everyone can agree on is - she is F-ing gorgeous!

But I also think she's wrong.
IF trump and desantis were to actually debate and desantis came out on top, I think he'd probably take the nomination and then the presidency.
Yes the hard core maga people will never leave trump but the rest of the repubs just want the best guy they can find and are tired of trump's shenanigans so they'd flock to a desantis ticket. The Independents would also get behind that ticket and the dems that are disgusted with biden/pelosi/schumer who couldn't bring themselves to vote for trump WOULD vote for desantis. DeSantis would clean house on anybody the dems put up.
I just don't think desantis would come out on top in a debate.

DeSantis can wait till 2028.
Heck he should have Kari Lake as VP.
|
|
if desantis won the nomination?? trump voters would vote for him.
they ain't fucking stupid
she was just making a funny point about it...how agro the trump base can be...only way to explain that obvious answer
she's fun to watch rip into people and take control of the interviews...only saw her for few months before she took nbc gig
|
|
I really don't think DeSantis will run if Trumps does.
|
|
Kari Lake's been all over the map
From Obama to Trump
That's quite a spread
We should have nothing but the hottest twats as politicians, imho
If someone's gonna lie to me on tv
They should be more than just easy on the eyes
I'm talking smoking hot
And nekkid too
Possibly doing something that the FCC bans
In a girl-on-girl threesome

There are plenty of conservatives that voted for Trump, and liked his policies, but would prefer DeSantis in 2024. I am one of those conservatives.
Yes, I think Trump is getting railroaded, and I dislike the dishonesty and lies the democratic party have engaged in to neutralize him.... but Trump is divisive, and would retaliate once in office. He is morally bankrupt just as most of our other leaders are.
I think DeSantis has common sense, and has made good decisions the last two years. I believe he would be a good president, and there would be more of a chance of bringing the country together.
Trump would get my vote over any democrat that I can think of, but DeSantis would get my vote all day long over Trump
|
|
good post...think that's the overall sentiment
dude would be a shit show the 2nd time around with retaliations, told you so crap...even though warranted

I liked Trump, so lets hear from those who voted for Biden,
tell us what a great job he is doing and that he should run again. LOL S
The Repubs should clean up the FBI, DOJ and other govt agencies that opposed
Trump with their dirty tactics. assuming that they at least regain the house.
If they don't we will continue to have a stagnating govt that really doesn't
do much for its citizens.
I won't be surprised that the Repubs really won't do that much even if
they get control of congress. Many like the status quo and are really
part of the elite that is bringing misery to the masses.
So you can expect more misery to come in the future regardless of
which party is in power.

If DeSantis will govern as President as he has as Governor, he won’t try to moderate and will kowtow to his ideological and very conservative base, like Trump.
He all too often seems too interested in “owning the libs.”
That is not someone I could support as President.
The problem Biden has had is that although he ran as a moderate in appearances, he hasn’t governed as such, but while you may hate his policies (e.g. build back better), at least he doesn’t appear to govern constantly in a way that is reaction to what people on the opposing side have done.
I mean, of course, the Biden administration reacts to conservative actions (e.g. abortion), but that’s not been his main thrust.
|
|
ok
so between the two...who you picking? biden or desantis?
|
|
Maybe with a Republican House and Senate, you will see Biden be more willing to moderate on his policies.
That’s not something I see Trump nor DeSantis doing.
I also feel it’s a joke to say that the government or its bureaucracy needs major fixing due to elitism.
I just think that is code that you don’t like what they are doing for ideological reasons, and you want to replace them with your own, probably less knowledgeable and competent, people with whom agree with your belief system.
|
|
I haven’t decided for whom I’m voting. If Biden doesn’t moderate, I may not bother to vote.
|
|
What type of thing to expect from DeSantis.
|
|
don't know what that is
what's actually happening in that twitter clip?
|
|
So, nr thinks if you commit a crime, you shouldn't be arrested.... fucking LIBTARD.

Any new "Republican" administration that comes in should go back all the way to the beginning of the Obama Administration and look at all of the Generals who were fired, people in the DOJ who were fired, and who they were replaced with.
How do you think we all of a sudden got this woke military, spending more time training about pronouns and chicks with dicks than on how to destroy our enemy? How do you think we got this partisan, vindictive, out of control DOJ who nails anyone on the right to the wall for the slightest indiscretion (fabricated or not), yet looks the other way at downright treason and corruption on the left?
People following their oath of office were removed and replaced with partisans. Every one of those partisans needs to go immediately! That's what Trump actually did wrong. He should have reviewed every agency, fired all of the partisans, and replaced them with those who are loyal to We the People! Trump also was a poor judge of character for people in his own administration, so quick to back stab, write a book, and profiteer from selling what the media in general wants us to hear, truthful or lies, doesn't matter.

Biden is doing a great job, he has passed infrastructure legislation while Trump talked about it for 4 years, he pulled the US troops out of the Afghan qumiremire - albeit not gracefully but US has never been very good at pulling out (think Viet Nam, Iraq), he forgave student loans to those who were essentially indentured servants to the US banks, he got big Pharma to agree to drug price negotiations, he stopped future drilling for oil in Alaska, he's sending US military technology to soundly defeat Putin's expansionist plans, etc.
He has even surprised me at the speed and volume of the above for a 70 something guy, I would vote for him again on merit, even though I think he's a bit too old - but that may be why he's been successful, he knows the legislative sausage making process and he can even cut deals with Republicans.

The establishment hated Trump from the day he came down the escalator, and Megyn Kelly became collateral damage in the establishment's hatred.
In the very first debate, moderated by Kelly, she came out of the gate hard on Trump..."You've called women fat pigs...etc." And the soon to be organized MAGA crowd turned on her. But what led up to that?
She was the darling to the right! Easy on the eyes, smart, articulate, conservative, everything every Republican boy ever wanted, and he could get a prime time hour of her time 5 days a week at no charge!
But Kelly went out there and moderated that debate...and don't have any illusions...FOX NEWS IS PART OF THE ESTABLISHMENT! Fox News wanted Jeb Bush as President. And Trump was in the way. Kelly got marching orders directly from the top, from Mr. Rupert Murdoch himself, to strike fast, strike hard, and take Trump out of this thing. He's dangerous, and a serious threat to the continuity of the good ol' boys club in Washington. She had no choice. So she did it. Trump survived, and Kelly was soon out at Fox, moving over to NBC where she thought she would be welcomed with open arms. She wasn't.
She never hated Trump, she was just forced to act that way. This interview proves that fact. She actually likes the guy, and while appearing to be neutral, in a way advocates for him. I miss seeing her out in the mainstream, a radio show and some internet show aren't where she should be. Newsmax or OAN should get their hands on her. She's conservative, but would bring moderation and a more stable viewpoint to those networks. And, she's easy on the eyes!
|
|
^ You do know she's not a republican but an Independent ... right?
Says it in the interview.
Also says she doesn't vote party, no one should, but votes for the best person that sees the world and issues the way she does. An example of that is when Kelly says Tulsi Gabbard is a dem she could support.

^
Atticus, I never said she was a Republican, I said she was conservative. There's a big difference between conservatives and those sellout hack pieces of shit in Washington that call themselves Republicans, tout conservative policies and values, and then knife We the People in the back every chance they get.
|
|
And I like Tulsi as well...another looker that's not a complete shithead!!!
|
|
^ Okay. Just checking.
Seems like when 'most' people say conservative they're usually 'staunch party faithful' repubs.

"Biden is doing a great job"
Now that's hilarious!
Ukraine is the only thing he's even in the ballpark of doing right.
He has fucked up almost everything else he's touched, being the wrong way Corrigan that he is.
You couldn't fuck up more on purpose than he's done accidentally.
He's made Trump look good and that's hard to do.
I'm gonna just say it, Trump is a fucking pig's cunt.
Fat Fuck narcissist, if you don't love him, he just hates on you and wants revenge.
Glad that Kemp told him to fuck off, more should do it.
He sat his fat ass in front of the tube and said "Can you believe I got beat by this fucking guy?"
Then went in public insisting he was cheated and didn't lose.
And, he cheats at golf.
So fuck him.
No Biden, No Trump!!!

Unless the Repubs start to hold Dems accountable for the mess they gave have
created with their dirty tricks, even if Trump becomes POTUS, he will still be facing
the same problems he had as #45.
Hunter and Joe are corrupt but I doubt that much will be done to them.
Other forces will have to come into play to make things better for the people.

"I miss seeing her out in the mainstream, a radio show and some internet show aren't where she should be."
I don't agree ... being on a network makes you beholden to their agenda even a poorly viewed one like newsmax (I'm not disparaging them never seen any show on it). But being on a media platform like Spotify rumble or YouTube (yes even that) you get people's eyes on you at times tha is convenient for them. I pretty much get all my news right off the phone while I'm driving the 2 plus hours to and from work and during lunch. When I get hoe it's dinner and fuck with hey1sonedumbsonofabitch time.
|
|
BTW, the big elephant is the room is the U.S. debt. Eventually someone will be
left holding the bag. Will it be the Dems or the Repubs?
The U.S. govt be forced to cut their budget which no one will want, especially the
social programs.
Same with CA, their pension funds are underfunded.
The U.S. population is getting older with many approaching retirement,
More misery to come for many.
|
|
^ don't worry unexplained death rates are on the rise.
Maybe we can get lucky and the jab fulfills all of afmadness expectations and bomers will be wiped out in the next 5 years. But then maybe the teenagers took that would suck for anyone retiring in the next 5 -10 years with no pension thanks to this recession... wait what was I saying.... ohh yeah yup are right.. if you ain't a billionaire your fucked.
