Russia has humiliatingly revealed it is no longer a global power of any consequence.
NATO is stronger than ever after an enervating 4 years of the previous administration which threatened to dismantle it. Two new members with excellent militaries trained in winter combat and close to the Russian border.
Iran is in near revolution.
China has a stalled economy and 20% youth unemployment.
England, after 12 years of incompetent Tory government, is in shambles and the Pound is in free fall.
The dollar is kicking ass everywhere. Deficit reduction is record low. Unemployment is record low.
Some people look at chocolate and can only see shit. Some of us get to enjoy the chocolate.

There is a difference in degree between the two parties but they are both corporate controlled. Perhaps somewhat different corporate interests. The Dems are more tied to the financial and tech oligarchs. They can afford to promote woke ideas and support unions. The Republicans are more in the pockets of the manufacturing sectors. As a result the Dems can emphasize social programs and the Republicans are more interested in corporate welfare. (the Dems are also) , cutting taxes, lowering wages , breaking unions and would be in favor of cutting Medicare and social security.
This is somewhat an oversimplification but has a basis in politics and economics. .

Rich is NOT the same as high income.......I will add moron as a descriptor, because nobody should have to explain this to you.
You can be very very RICH and have legit non-taxable income, per the tax code (muni bonds)
You can have very high income and that makes it much more difficult to escape income taxation.
NOBODY pays taxes simply because they're rich, it's called "income tax" for a good fucking reason. Taking someone's money just cause they have more than someone else is basically unconstitutional, otherwise you might as well move to Russia.
The state of CA gets a huge proportion of tax income from a relatively few number of HIGH income earners, not because they're rich people. The same is true at the Federal level but not nearly as egregious as CA. This information is easily findable and it is a FACT.
Examples of RICH that pay little income tax would be George Soros and especially, Warren Buffet.
Buffet, a Dem favorite, takes NO income therefore pays little taxes but is worth billions, he simply borrows against his equity if he needs money thereby not having to sell his holdings and pay taxes.
His business is structured as a non-taxable insurance holding company and when he dies, all his money goes to charity thereby paying no taxes there either. Yet you Progs love him because he says the right things, same with Soros.

Second, corporations don't pay taxes, they simply pass on the tax bill to their customers.
Third, who in the fuck says all that tax revenue SHOULD go to the guvmint, in the first place. We don't have a tax revenue problem. We have a spending problem. BOTH parties have consistently spent more than is collected for over 60 fucking years. Regardless, of anything going on in the real world, the Fed's spend MORE money every year.
In FY 2022, that spending number is $6.3 Trillion, $6,300,000,000,000!!!
