Temecula Wineries (there are many) produce reds, whites, and roses. Not sure about sparkling wines.

Big wino here and love the wines in Temecula. i feel they are underrated, but if you like big, bold reds; this is your place. Doffo, Hart and Robert Renzoni are some of my favs. Cougar has a lot of good Italian varietals and good Whites. Also try Akash is a good up and comer.

Temecula is not far from you but I'd make a trip to Paso Robles or even SLO or Santa Ynez wine regions

The Thornton Winery makes a nice almond champagne that I like, and I seven like champagne. Plus it's open later for tasting than most others
