it's early and you have an almost full squad of new guys who are trying to get chemistry playing together.
The glaring omission is shooting, especially outside shooting. With Danny Green, Monk, Carmelo and others gone, there are no dependable shooters.
There will be other pick ups and the possibility of a big trade to get shooters before the trading deadline.

So far, they suck.
This is crazy bad. This is an embarrassing team with a couple of huge superstars. Rob Pelimka should be fired ASAP.
The only bright side is that it really can't get worse.

A team cannot stay great and win championships every year.
A time comes, sooner or later, that the weight of superstars , big contracts and egos get in the way of winning a game. Dynasties are formed, rise, and as superstars age and want what's best for themselves, decline creeps in. Downward spiral. The Circle of Sports.

At 0 - 6 I think it's time for the team and jeanie to admit the seasons pretty much toast.
So I think they should petition the Pac 12 for entry. I'm pretty confident, if they can stay relatively healthy, they have a shot at an NIT invite.
Don't think they could win it but at least they'd get to play after the regular season ends.
