I've also heard Biden say that the high price of gas is Putin's fault. Or was it the greed of the oil companies? Maybe the greed of the gas station owners? Odd that there are so many conflicting statements from the Party that is all about rooting out disinformation.

In recognition of the ADA act, I think that Fetterman should be allowed to take his oath via texting. His speech problem is not necessarily related to his intelligence.

Trumps fears of losing may have prompted him to lash out at DeSantis. The repercussions may come to the fore in the coming time. But Trump does have a huge base but it could erode.

I don't forsee a groundswell of Republican officials, and clearly not the base, blocking a Trump run in 2024. He is the clear favorite for the Republican nomination. Beyond the many obvious reasons he wants to run, the most fundamental is that he totally detests Biden. Nothing motivates a politician like hatred. And, Biden absolutely despises Trump so, my friends, Biden-Trump II is coming. Absolutely amazing that in 2024, two white guys, way past the full retirement age and close to the end of their life expectancy will be the major candidates for the Presidency.

Other factors are the younger peoples vote. Generally around issues of abortion and student debt cancellation. I agree that Trump took a hit when some of his candidates lost. The Republicans better think twice about backing him in 2024. The political winds may be shifting a bit. But the Dem establishment might back Biden again rather than a younger more vibrant candidate Trumps stumble could affect whether he is indicted somewhere as well.
