Newsom buying the AA vote for 2024.
|
|
He can do that with a Forty.
|
|
Or maybe this is Newsom's great idea to solve the mass CA population exodus issue.
|
|
And you KNOW it'll pass. Cause THAT'S how stupid people are in California.
Fuck! I'm glad my residence is now Texas and I only have to pay property taxes in that state.
Miss the amazing women though. Like AlexisSweet, Pretty Kitty, Tabie etc.

I wonder why Newson and the other libs in Sacramento think they need to buy more votes. CA is solid blue without this kind of shit!
Heard the math on this the other day. Total tab comes the $500 billion plus. That is 2 times the annual CA budget. Exactly where do they expect to pull that kind of cash from...

There won't be any reparations to Blacks just like there won't be any student loans
reduced or forgiven. It's just a lot of BS talk!

What about all the Chinese descendants who who built the railroad?
the Japanese descendants from internment camps
what about......
|
|
^ The Japanese that were 'interred' actually did get reparations for lost businesses, jobs, etc.
The difference was it was given to those still alive that had undergone interment. This is just giving money to people who MIGHT be descended from people who were former slaves.
I don't have a problem giving reparations to former slaves - if you were one then yeah - Come on down.
Other then that it's idiotic. Unless it leads to my people getting their land back ... then dynamite let's go!

"What about all the Chinese descendants who who built the railroad?"
The Los Angeles Chinese massacre of 1871 was a racial massacre targeting Chinese immigrants in Los Angeles, California, United States that occurred on October 24, 1871. Approximately 500 white and Hispanic Americans attacked, harassed, robbed, and murdered the ethnic Chinese residents of the old Chinatown neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles, California.
Yea see? This is the slippery slope of America having to pay for any transgression in the past.
What about the Pima Indians. The Desert and River People in southwest Arizona. Take a trip down there and see how they live. Or the Lakota People, the Kiowa and those tribes. And think about what the Comanches did to their own people and any one who crossed their path.
White Americans have a lot of pay back I guess or just let it go as we won't do that again to anyone in this great nation.
The Comanche destroyed more indigenous tribes than the white people ever hoped to do. So who do we give the reparations to? The Kiowa? How far back does this go?

I don’t think the reason girls who won’t see AAs is about them worried about them paying the donation, it’s because they don’t want BBC smashing their vajs and I heard some complain that they smell bad.

There was an interesting experiment with reparations for white people in 1944 for 1-4 years of involuntary servitude known as the Servicemens Readjustment Act. In common parlance, the GI Bill.
9 million white veterans and their families received about 4 billion 1944 dollars for education, housing, unemployment compensation, and healthcare. Black veterans were excluded.
There was no financial compensation for living slaves after the civil war ended.
There was no adjustment in public schools to address the social consequences of slavery in America in the manner of how the Germans addressed the social consequences of Nazism in their public schools.
The Nazis studied Jim Crow laws in the American South while formulating their Jewish domestic policy.
The median wealth of Black households in the United States is $24,100, compared with $188,200 for white households.
|
|
"There was no financial compensation for living slaves after the civil war ended."
The civil war achieved the clear objective of freeing slaves in the conquered southern states.
In 1860, the year before the American Civil War started, the U.S. Government debt was $64.8 million. Once the war began, debt grew quickly. The financial cost of the war was significant, totaling an estimated $5.2 billion.
Final national debt after the war settled at $2.6B or 40x prior to the war.
Again... slavery in the Southern states ceased to exist from then onas a result of the war. That's called "progress" at a significant price in terms of govt investment and the lives of many Union soldiers of all color. And on top of that Lincoln get assassinated by the Rebels afterwards.
GTFO with the notion that just ending slavery wasnt enough.
|
|
I also fail to see why I, through my taxes, as a non-slave owner, nor descendant of a slave owner, should have to pay someone who was not a slave a single penny.
But of course, this is my assbackwards thinking as an old white guy (yes, I know as an old white guy me and those like me are the problem with the country. I know this is true because the "woke" tell me so... though with Trump and Biden as exhibits #1 and #2 they do have a good starting argument) because I don't see why i have to support anyone, of any color, of any sex, for any reason, regardless of the number of times they have spawned, with my tax dollars.
Taxes money should be for the collective good - you know, roads, military, fire, police, courts, water supply, sanitation system.
By the way - this thought process does not make me a racists. I equally despise white folk that think something is owed to them by the government.
So for the libs out there - someone please explain to me where this sense of entitlement comes from?

'The Comanche destroyed more indigenous tribes than the white people ever hoped to do. So who do we give the reparations to? The Kiowa? How far back does this go?'
The Kiowa were wiped out, they're still here and are still a viable tribe. So are the Kiowa Apache.
Were the Comanche ruthless? Absolutely. But so were the Kiowa, Kiowa Apache, Mescalero, White Mountain, Chiricahua, Lipan and all the tribes of the Apache Nation as well as the Navajo and all the rest of the tribes whose territories were in areas that had limited resources.
It was the nature of being a 'plains/desert' tribe with limited resources - you protected them to the death cause you couldn't afford to lose any.
Where resources were plentiful the tribes were much less war like. The tribes in California, where resources were plentiful, were very peaceful AND they got run over when the spaniards invaded. That didn't happen when the conquistadors went into the Comanche, Apache and Kiowa territories, they found themselves fighting for their life.

We could give 350 million people 250 thousand and it's only 875 million chump change and a big econ. stimulator. Where's my MF'ing money.
|

^ A graduate From the Dude Lebowski institute of mathematics.
Let's see...
350 million times $250k is $87.5 Trillion
Fucking idiots
|
|
California's unfunded pension liabilities is 101 billion and growing.
It's unlikely that any money will be going to Blacks for reparations for slavery.
This state is woke and broke, just like the Federal govt.
|
|
I got an idea, if we all start whacking blacks now, by the time checks start printing, there might be only a few hundred left costing us maybe several million not trllion.
|
|
Atticus Finch there are only 12,000 recognized Kiowa tribe members remaining on a small reservation in Oklahoma. In 2012 there only 20 people who spoke the Kiowa language.
I call that a wipeout.
|
|
Really how many do you think still speak Lakota? Dakota? Nez Perce? Choctaw or Chickasaw? Cherokee? Algonquin? or White Mountain? etc.
There aren't many. Is it starting to come back? Yes as people are once again taking pride in their heritage so now classes are being held to teach those interested in learning the old ways and languages.
But the U.S. government had more to do with the decimation of tribal culture then the warring between the tribes. Because the U.S. government pushed for assimilation of the people into anglo society rather then staying on the reservations and/or continuing to identify themselves as Indians. Thus the passing of the dawes act.
The reservation system was never supposed to be a permanent solution, it was supposed to be a temporary solution until every tribe was assimilated.

Saw the stats once about the post civil war era wagon trains.
Of all the whities (incl. the black white man) killed in that 1870 to 1890 time frame?
Something like 5% were done in by injuns
95% by disease, accidents and other whities.
Don't believe all those fucking movies.
But check out "The English" on Amazon
There's some creepy shit in there.
|
|
And, let's be honest.
Reparations are bullshit unless you can trace specifically who got fucked by whom.
Also means that black slave owners gotta pay too, of course.
My people didn't even get here til the early 1900's
So, I don't owe anybody shit.
The entire history of humanity Is one group killing another and taking their shit.
How far back do we go to right the wrongs
Racism is only one of many
So, don't be stupid, k?
Thx. 😀

There were Injun tribes who trusted white people and recruited into service against the warring tribes like the Comanche in 1860's. I have a first hand account from a Pima tribe member on HX who great great grandfather joined the US Calvary and fought the Comanches.
There was no reward for that. The white government forgot about that afterwards but the Pima were known for superior eyesight and they did there job.
Ira Hayes is the perfect example of the Pima warrior. He is one of the brave ones raising the flag on Iwo Jima.
|
|
Another distraction by Dems in an attempt to buy votes and not address the issues
at hand that they created. We need to get rid of those white supremacists.
Oh wait! Then HX would be gone.
|
|
So, after reparations are made, there will be no more economic disparity, right? Because we will have solved the root of the problem, correct?
Welfare enacted. Check.
Affirmative Action enacted. Check (was supposed to be temporary, but, whatever)
Buildings and streets renamed. Check.
Statues (which most people of any color ignore anyway) taken down. Check.
Reparations enacted ...Check (?).
Utopia is just around the corner!

It is about time Gavin Nuisance came up with another big tax increase.
Nice move Gavin. He was reelected?
How dumb are the California voters?

How dumb are the California voters?
Really dumb. Let's see: We have one of the highest tax rates in the country. Our school testing is near the bottom. Our roads are in terrible shape. Gas prices are higher than any other state. Homelessness is off the charts. And on and on.
Now who runs the state (and has run the state for years)? Nearly every statewide elected office is held by democrats. They have had a super-majority in congress so they can do basically anything they want. The state is fucked up and what do the voters do... they re-elect the same dems so they can continue fucking things up.
The Coastal commission is a joke. And just this week Newscum blamed the oil companies for being greedy and gouging the people. Hmmm, the dems have done everything possible to drive up the cost of gas by taxing the shit out of it. And now LA county is shutting all gas production down. Yeah, that will drive the cost down... How stupid are these schmucks...
What will it take for the voters in this state to wise up and vote for change?
|
|
Time to get sober...the Alcoholics Anonymous community is going to flourish 🤪
|
|
With a policy of non solicited mail ballots distributed to everyone for elections, legalized ballot harvesting, and 20 to 30 years of no voter roll updates maybe the voters aren't the whole problem.
I think these people in Sacramento can get almost anything they want done and they can work the system.
|
|
^^^this guy knows what he's talking about....so glad I left California...gruesome Newsom is a disaster
|
|
Not to sound like a "deep stater"
But, take a look at the latest CARB regs that were just promulgated by a group of unelected bureaucrats given carte blanche by Sacramento
CA is trying to force every trucker IN THE COUNTRY to live by our regs and buy new electric trucks
SCOTUS will finally shut these worthless CARB fucks down on this one.
But, make no mistake, CA independently owned small truckers will be forced out of biz by CARB and Sacramento......fucking disgusting
All for a miniscule rounding error in carbon output but a ginormous heaping of virtue signalling

@Hey1 -- Where do you get your stats from? Lets look at California ... a super majority Blue State run by Democrats who do nothing but waste money by pouring it into these horrible ideas meant to garner votes that .. quite frankly .. they dont need.
2022 - Median Income in California
White = 94K
Black = 63K
Asian = 116K
Hispanic = 70K
Mixed Race = 90K
The disparity in California cannot possibly be blamed on the Republican or Right leaning because they quite literally make no decisions. Democrat Playbook is played out to the letter here in Cali .. Keep voters poor so that we can control them with Government handouts when we need them. For you not to see this is both disingenuous and Ignorant.

I am skeptical generally of calling for big economic changes based on ideology alone.
There needs to be data showing inequalities in actual settings for a specific group of people, and the solutions need to be practical and preferably shown previously to work for some other analogous problem.
I have no doubt that there are a ton of data you can generate that show that there are systemic inequalities in the US. And, in general, we should work to try to rectify these in the aforementioned manner.
But we also shouldn't just ignore economic problems of groups that haven't had systematic racism affecting them. Ignoring these leads to further divisions in our country.
|
|
*actual, current settings
|
|
@ LuckyGixxer:
The numbers Hey1 gave refer to wealth and not income, presumably because the disparity is so much more pronounced.
It's the same trick the Progs try to pull when bringing up the gap between the 1% and the remaining 99%. Never mind that the overwhelming majority of Americans have their basic needs met, And that that there are only three things that almost everyone, regardless of race, can do to avoid poverty. What matters is that the uber-rich have something that the "oppressed" don't, and the former should be forced to share it with the latter.

From linked story...
"In 2021, California business headquarters left the state at twice their rate in both 2020 and 2019, and at three times their rate in 2018. In the last three years, California lost eleven Fortune 1000 companies, whose exits negatively affect California’s economy today. "
