Big fucking deal...
"The company was convicted of enriching its top executives with off-the books benefits for more than a decade.
The untaxed perks included luxury cars and private school fees, prosecutors said, which made up for lower salaries and therefore reduced the amount of tax the business was required to pay."
You Trump is the only businessman guilty of this? Might get a fine of $1.5M
That pales in comparison to Joe getting 10% of Hunters foreign business deals
in the meantime...irs is starting the 600-buck reporting threshold for payment apps/services
Every corporation and executive in America should be trembling in their shoes....they all provide some level of perks that fly under the radar.
Jack, Joe Biden was entitled that 10%. Hunter lived in his for the first 48 yrs. Of his life.
Joe also gave Hunter1500 bucks every morning to buy Rice Crispys.

did the trump EXECs themselves participate in the tax saving payment scheme...where the proper income did now flow thru their W2?
BTW, this is not earth-shattering stuff here...the trump corp didn't invent it and not the only one doing it.
with all that being said...not a lot of C and Scorp audits in last 25 years. that shit is starting NOW
audits are very easy these days and don't cost as much or they are BETTER at getting money...there used to be a lot of 30-40hrs of work resulting in NO CHANGE...that's a horrible business model.

Another yawner from gloom guy.
Holy shit really, they under-reported income!
Crap - they wanted to reduce their tax burden?
Hope they don't start taking a look at the deals that congress gets.
look out the tax man is coming for you and you and you...
indeed that is gloom
This all would have been avoided if Trump gave Hunter his cut of the fraudulent scheme.
Shame.
The Biden’s companies never been found guilty of fraud. Sad!
Up to $1.86 million in fines, and not including other penalties for top execs.
What a glorious day…
Is someone going to jail or just a fine?
“ Up to $1.86 million in fines.”
They probably make more than that an hour. Nothingburger.
Hunter Biden laptop lmao
If only they had under reported income….
under-reported income is a bit harder with big corp...the fingerprints on that kind of fraud comes off as a lot more egregious
Since ultimately Trump is the President / CEO whatever, by being found guilty, wouldn't this make him a Felon. And if so, would that disqualify him from running for Office.
Trump must have muscular legs. Running for office and running from the law.

OP, you promised jail time
Is he getting fitted for a striped suit?
Or, are you just tickling my wrinkled nutsack with your tongue again?
Asking for a friend who'd like his tickled too.
So these are the opening sentences in OP's linked story...
"The Trump Organization was convicted on all counts on Tuesday after two days of jury deliberations in New York.
The business is synonymous with the former president, but neither Mr Trump nor his family members were personally on trial."
So it's the Trump Organization that will pay a fine.
Whatever it takes to get you liberals to go ape shit like chimps at feeding time.
yep, he knows shit about shit

Hey Kahn,
I wish the Dem prosecutors would just lay off Trump and the Trump Organization. He is the best thing going for us, our magic bullet. Trump is essential for flipping the House in 2024, and keeping the Senate and Presidency. Watch for the deep pocket Dem PACs start donating to the Trump 2024 campaign. Of course, the right wing lunatics will see it as an FBI-Dem conspiracy.
I disagree with that suggestion, Squat.
Idiot Orange is incapable of shutting the fuck up
And is mos def his own worst enemy
WSJ pointed out how he started blathering about cancelling the Constitution......
"For years, Mr. Trump’s Twitter feed was the gift that kept on giving—to Democrats. Now his Truth Social account is playing the same role, giving the media a way to turn unfavorable stories back to Mr. Trump’s outburst du jour. Last week Elon Musk divulged new information about Twitter’s 2020 censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story in the New York Post. Republicans should be on offense this week. Instead they are facing hostile questions about Mr. Trump’s Terminator fantasy and whether they will support him in 2024."
DT had his 15 minutes
Time for Reps to dump this loser

I am pretty sure he was being sarcastic Goebbels and not proposing a DNC strategy for the next election.
As for your typically irrelevant and pragmatically detached solution, it is like asking lemmings to reconsider that whole cliff motif they have lined up on their calendar.
There is a reason why there are no happy ending versions of the making a deal with the devil trope.
Republicans have filled up their dance card with whiny, man-child, grievance peddling, replacement theory, antic prone, moral arsonists for the next decade at least.
Educated independents are done with them. They have been weighed and found wanting.
No, justice is NOT served. $1.5M is NOTHING compared to the over a decade or two decades that he spent egregiously evading taxes.
When conservatives say, He broke the law? Big deal! It's almost like they don't care about law and order. lol! Or maybe they only care about law and order when it involves minorities.

All I know is the Democrats are doing Trump a favor.
PT Barnum:
There is no such thing as bad publicity.
Scrooged:
You can't buy publicity like this.
The more fanfare, the more Trump remains in the public eye..... well, you do the math.
You can’t buy publicity like this, but the actual cost to his sources of income are staggering to the point of corporate gangrene.
No business partner in their right mind would continue to do business with them, and only the most disturbed would continue to anchor their futures on the organizations and they scream louder their death knell.

anyone making good money is trying to minimize tax liability, thats why we have such a huge tax code - to provide loopholes for those who know.
this is normal practice in 99% of smaller corporations, they were definitively targeted.
but why was it a jury trial?
how can a jury be say in whats legal or not in the tax code?
^ dude you cannot pay under the table. Yes there is many tax loopholes which makes you think why Trump Org found it necessary to skimp out on taxes when they can legally skimp out on many taxes.

Fallout: the Murdock family and media outlets has been given the green light to pursue and take down Trump and clan, as Stuart Varney (of Dox news) and unleash rebukes about how his conduct, his financial affairs and criminal activity are hurting the people he is supposed to support.
that was in the making when they brought on Ryan as a board of directors a few years back.
"...and unleash rebukes about how his conduct, his financial affairs and criminal activity are hurting the people he is supposed to support."
And yet again for the 2 thousandth, 3 hundred and seventy third time ... what criminal activity exactly?
You say they "just got the green light" but they've been spying on, creating fake allegations, investigating, impeaching, raiding, and harassing this guy 24/7 for almost 7 fucking years.
They just just found the Trump Org "guilty" of giving perks to the big wigs.
Even OJ knew when to give up on his effort to find the real killers.
