I mean…if people don’t want to pay a deposit, that’s fine, but they should seek people out who do not require them on HX (and there’s plenty since this is truly a “hobbyist” site. Whether for good or bad) they can reach out to.
That’s really the end all be all.

^Agreed.
If you can’t meet expectations, move on. Don’t waste your time and their time.

There’s no right or wrong answer here
Just find someone who fits your needs and policies

Ty. The only wrong answer is when someone requests a donation and then ghosts the client when they arrive. Unfortunately, that still occurs. Hence, the blog to raise awareness.

I think we get why a lady would want a deposit. Security, confirmation of meeting and all that.
However, like everything else good, a few shitheads ruin it for everyone.
I did the deposit thing once to someone that was on and off here for a while. She ghosted me.
Lesson learned and now when I get that request I tell them this story. Some are cool and relax the deposit requirement and some don't. I don't get pissy with the ones that don't, I just move on.

I'd say it's more then a few, I'd say it's at least 50%, if not 75%, of the women who get a deposit become Casper when it's time to keep an appointment.
Doesn't matter if they have great reviews and a great rep they still do it.
I know the 1 time I gave a deposit I asked several people about her, checked her reviews etc. and all the feedback was all great. Still got ghosted.
