California refineries usually do their maintenance in the spring as they switch from making winter gasoline to summer gasoline. Memorial Day is usually the highest price of the year.

I'm under the impression that higher gas prices and inflation has affected HX business.
The discretionary income that many guys once had to spend on this site has been wiped out.
That money is now used to pay for gasoline and food.

@sleepyone, I read the article. It said overall many will actually save on gas, an avg
of $277, compared to last year. Of course in California that probably won't be the case.
Do I buy eggs or gas. LOL

Price goes up then it goes down…get an EV instead and safe your money on gas and other unnecessary yearly maintenance shit like radiator fluid, brake fluid, oil fluid and brake. If cutting cost is really a big deal to you then what are you doing ponying $$$ here and then bitch and moan about gas money.

And we are sitting on trillions of cubic feet of natural gas, but can't access it....why.....stupid government policies.

We have no where near enough electricity in CA to run any more electric vehicles than we currently have. We already have rolling blackouts and power brown outs.

have you seen the price of eggs lately, even at costco it's up huge, and meat has jumped in 3 weeks up $10 lb for ribeye steak
diesel fuel here in ca will be up to $9 gal by summer, this from the oil distributors
