Bend, Oregon has the 3rd greatest number of microbreweries per capita in the country, with Portland at number 8. Portland, back in 2013-14, Portland had the greatest number of breweries per capita in the world, but I guess others are moving in.
Also, Portland used to have the greatest number of strip clubs per capita of anyplace in the country.

I can't remember which adult actress on Holly Randell's Podcast mentioned, Portland has more strip clubs per capita than any other city in the United States. But here's Oregon Stripping info.
Astoria, Oregon Is amazing. Plus even from SoCal still excited about favorite movie location sighting fun.
Kindergarten Cop (1990)
The Goonies, 1985
Short Circuit,1986
If going inland Bend, Oregon has the Last Blockbuster which is also in a documentary of the same name.

OP please do me a favor. In 1978 my buddy and I was riding through Medford. Medford PD stopped us and took several pictures of us incase we started any trouble. Could you go by the Medford police station and see if they still have our pictures on their wall?
|
|
They move those pictures to the Post Office.
You in a heap of trouble Sonny.
At least to someone you are most wanted

On the way up to Oregon is Harbin Hot Springs in Middletown CA. Over the mountain from Calistoga.
Nude in the tubs, all natural hot springs with no chlorine. Woodland hikes, spring-fed pools & water-based shiatsu massage sessions, plus an organic restaurant, hotel rooms and camping. 24 hours a day. Its pretty awesome.

I didn't know Oregon requires a trained professional to fill your gas tank until an irate attendant started yelling at me. Make sure you pronounce Oregon the correct way as well. I got yelled at for that too.

Going up there in a few weeks, I love Astoria, Cape Disappointment, Depoe Bay, Portland, Salem, the entire coast. Enjoy.
|
|
If you go to the sea lion caves make sure to bring some
Cotton balls to stick in your nose so you can’t smell anything.
|
|
Crater Lake is a bit out of the way, but it's totally worth it. You can drive the entire rim of the crater in about an hour (plus time to enjoy the view). I guarantee your jaw will hit the floor when you get that first view

If you're into architecture stop off in San Jose and take a tour of the Winchester House.
The place is AWESOME, creepy, but awesome.

umpqua hot springs is amazing. Cougar hot used to me my all time FAVORITE but I haven’t been in a while and have heard it might have changed or is closed. It’s worth looking up though.

If Ayla's an example, I'm in.
Used to run into a lot of Portland girls in Moundhouse. Always had a fun time with them.

To me, Portland has a lot great food and brews. You can never go wrong as long as you ask around.
Portland has this cooll rule where the bars that serve food have to keep their kitchens open as long as the bar is open. So you can get something to eat while drinking until 2 am.
Because there are so many microbrews (more than a Starbucks in every corner IMO), always ask the bartender what they recommend, even after you tell them what you're into, trust their taste.
Also try to say at the McMenamins Kennedy School. It's elementary school converted into a bed and breakfast. You can first run movies in there auditorium while drinking their own fresh brewed beer.
|
|
Also I’m sorry, that comment I made was pretty rude. I know plenty of beautiful and healthy vegans and I just think making assumptions about their appearance based off off their dietary choices doesn’t make sense. You were also just making a joke but like us women in the industry get picked apart by so many things it’s just like ugh🙄
Ok I’m done now haha. Good night HX, looking forward to returning next week and making more awesome friends💓💓💓

Oregon strip clubs are the best. I loved Mary's in Portland back in the '90s. Amazing punk rocky women, fully nude, with alcohol, and just a comfortable, casual vibe. Like going to your favorite bar, there just happens to be a great looking, naked woman on stage dancing.
I particularly like the Central Coast of Oregan around Bandon, and the college towns. Also some great hiking in the central lava flow areas. If you like LA, but find it sprawling and massive, a city like Portland is just a manageable hang with good food (great Polish restaurant in http://www.kachkapdx.com, goood coffee, good beer and a more open minded attitude about most things.
So much so that we from here, are moving there and ruining it. Ha!

Last time I visited Oregon, I was in Astoria and started looking for 'One Eyed Willie's' treasure but couldnt find it. Lots of booty traps though and I don't know how to play an instrument so I couldnt get past the skeleton piano part.

Ayla, let’s have dinner.

If you love Cajun and Southern food, visit Screen Door in Portland. It is one of the highest rated restaurants in the city. The wait is usually pretty long, but you can go across the street to a Mexican restaurant and have drinks in their fairly large bar (Screen Door has a really tiny bar so not too many people can wait and drink).
