Saturday up in LA
But better yet, grab a flight to NOLA and hang out on St Charles and Canal !
Original plan was to go to the Florida Keys and party on Duval St.
My partners-in-crime went to a Greek Wedding on Sunday (the island people, not anal slaves like Alter and Yellow) and hurt themselves carrying the bride on a chair around the dance floor.
Never a bad time to visit Key West đ đ đ
No libs allowed in Florida Shitcan, stay in your leftist state Commiefornia.
For a good time
OP could go fuck himself!
Plus, where's the gloom in this blog?
I heard Goebbels is hosting a glory hole but that was on Fox so take it with a grain of salt.
I was just in Key West last weekend visiting my son and watching the Superbowl. Lots of great places to eat on Duval.
I heard HeyI'maHoboGloryHole is a hobo glory hole

You must be delusional and taking your anal wart pills instead of brain pills, Alter.
Running Joke in Florida is that the Keys want to secede from Florida mainland because of the inbred hillbillies (like you) then demand welfare and restitution once Florida begins to âinvadeâ and live off of Florida funds for free.
The other running joke is how tiny the AlterEgo teenie weenie is, and how deep you can take tranny cock up your man-vagina.
^
That rant tells us more about you than it does about him.
In 1982 I believe ...
The Keys gave themselves the name of the " Conch Republic " , and wanted to secede from the USA... It didn't capture much traction and never happened in a serious way...
As far as " Conch " is concerned ... They love Conch Fritters down in Key West --- I think that they are just awful tasting but to each their own...
Key West itself is about 4 miles ( East to West ) and about a 1 1/2 miles ( North to South ) ...
If New Orleans and Waikiki had a baby, that's pretty much Key West

My favorite place in New Orleans (and one of the coolest places anywhere) is Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar. The oldest bar in the country. Mostly lit by candlelight. Feels like youâre in the Pirates of the Caribbean.
And of course youâre seeing tits because itâs on Bourbon Street.

Of those two options, hurricane.
How about you?
PM
The Hurricane looks like a Mai Tai knock off - but I'm always game to try it! And don't get me started on anything that has grain alcohol in it. Me and Everclear have a history, and it's not a pretty one!
One day I'll visit New Orleans for this holiday!
MA 1 --- As you know, there must be 50 + establishments on Bourbon Street alone that are selling Hurricanes & Hand Grenades
For me, it's a Hurricane
February in New Orleans is perfect weather, and all of the Mardi Gras Festivities is just so awesome, nothing you'd see anywhere else in the USA ...
Been tipsy off Hand Grenades on Bourbon Street a few times! Good Times! đ
@MA1
Pirates of the Caribbean you say? Just my cup of tea. Nothing like being ravaged by some guy that has been at sea for 6 months. Talk about raw passion! Maybe that's why I chose to make San Diego my homebase. Come on boys - the sun is over the yardarm - let's get this party started!
as someone who lived in New Orleans, fuck the tourists
If it wasn't for Tourism --- I don't think New Orleans would survive ...
The only places that I would even consider living at in NOLA is below St Charles from the Lower Garden to the Audubon Park area ...
Great town though... The impromptu Parades for Weddings and Funerals, you just don't see that anywhere else ... So much unique culture, the great food , above ground cemeteries, just the entire history of the town

Back on topic⌠where can I get a good king cake this weekend?
New Orleans Sweet Treats
1942 W 85th St Los Angeles, CA 90047
Though I am certain that there are many French Bakeries local to you that have them too
Little France Coffee & Bakery
28181 Marguerite Pkwy Mission Viejo, CA 92692
I'm getting mine there... Across the street from Saddleback College ...
I've landed at MSY - Louis Armstrong International
I'll be on Bourbon Street in about 3 hours. I have drop by my bakery place on Magazine Street
and pick up a King Cake first !

@ Marrisa_G
Yes! Both New Orleans and Cartagena, Colombia (the old town) have that pirate feel, right out of the movies, because thatâs where pirates frequented. Iâve been to both places and they were incredibly fun and cool places.
In terms of La Fetiteâs, the story is that pirates would drink there then be chased down the streets of Nola by the authorities and theyâd jump into the river to their ships. Just a magical place. But the real draw are the jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street. Much nicer than Bourbon Street.
A lot of streets in New Orleans have potholes --- See the pic
It's cause NOLA is below sea level and it has high levels of ground water that the asphalt doesn't set very well in New Orleans...
The other pic is for anyone who ever watched NCIS - New Orleans ... That was the location (at least visually) of the NCIS Headquarters
Def a Hurricane!
No one mentioned Beignets? A Nawlins Teat!
https://www.neworleans.com/restaurants/traditional-new-orleans-foods/beignets/
Cafe Du Monde --- The original across the street from Jackson Square is a must visit for sure
Beignets are usually sold in 3 's , and they put them in a bag and that bag will be full with powdered sugar... Beignets are good in my opinion but not great either... You definitely need a cup of chicory coffee to accompany them, and do not wear black if you're going to be eating beignets, cause the powdered sugar gets everywhere ...
* exactly the place I was thinking of Pete.
Hungover at my airbnb, the uptowner, too many hand grenades last night !
@MA1
I'm sure I would love to be ravaged in Cartagena but I don't work outside the U.S. If they get too enamoured with me I might be kidnapped and not be able to get home!
@ Eddie Dantes
Seriously ? WTF ? Hungover ?
No excuses bro ...
Red beans and rice, Gumbo, Jambalaya is everywhere ...
@ Marrisa_G
Cartagena is the resort town in Colombia. Itâs actually very safe. You donât have anything to worry about there. It was amazing and much easier to get to than Habana, Cuba (my partyâs first choice). Anthony Bourdain recommended the seafood paella at La CevicherĂa, which I had nearly once a day for a week while there. It was one of the best dishes Iâve ever had.
@ EdmondDantes
Try to find NAC supplements while youâre there. Itâs known as a very effective hangover cure.
I usually take 3 or 4 Advils and a cup of water before bed when I overdo it; I found that it prevents hangovers from materializing.
Note:
Do not take Tylenol after drinking. It is dangerous and will affect your liver.
Advil/Motrin (Ibuprofen) is safe after drinking. Up to 800mg is safe unless youâre allergic to ibuprofen.
Thank you Mildlyamusing1
The Krewe of Tucks had an after party yesterday that was just insane !
Mardi Gras in New Orleans, there's just nothing else like it !
80 degrees today in New Orleans !
Enjoying a nice walk in Audubon Park, then walking
across the street to Tulane University.
@ Sherkhan
You can go on-line and order King Cakes from NOLA, and have them shipped to you.
It is with deep sadness that I report this. Last night there was a shooting along the parade route on St Charles Avenue for the Krewe of Bacchus. New Orleans is a safe town, this was an isolated incident, and not indicative of the general peace in New Orleans.
^ lol New Orleans is not a safe town, at all, those of us that actually lived there know to avoid the Quarter and downtown during Mardi Gras, too many dumb fuck drunk tourists who are easy targets, only idiot parents take a child into that area, sad for the family
I probably should have said that I feel safe here. I always stay by Audubon Park in a very nice AirBNB , so it is nice here. But yes, New Orleans has some sketchy areas, even in the Garden District which has multi-million dollar mansions mostly.
