They will also use the girls' photos from PD in an attempt to fool the guy into thinking they are legitimate.

I wonder how would they get a guy's phone number or know that he's on PD?
I received an email from an extortion attempt, I assumed it came from PD because it was sent to the email i used for that platform, but the email listed my password, so I changed it.
Most of these sites and probably HX aren't that safe from data breaches.
The scam said I was going to be outed and it said they had videos of me masturbating from my phone and computer cam, which I knew couldn't be true because I only masturbate in front of my digital camera, not my phone or laptop.

Nothing is 100% guarantied safe from a breach. But if ever all they can get is a user - email because it is all we have.

Fuck the scammers. Stick with HX my friends and you will never be disappointed!

A while back I had a guy texting me claiming to be someone that I met
I ALMOST fell for it except the day before the actual person had messaged me and gave me their number. Before then I hadn't talked to that person in a few months, so had it not been for me realizing that the number that was texting me was not the number that I was given the day before, I probably would have end up meeting with that person.
So even if you know someone it's always best to verify.
I had an old Google voice number that was given away due to not using it for a while . Let's just say whoever had my new number was pretending to be me and was asking men for money. I ended up texting my old number like "hey June!!" And the girl replies like she's me. I finally convinced her to send a pic and I'm pretty sure it was a man pretending to be a woman, who was pretending to be me .
Either way please be carefully y'all đ

Itâs so messed up! But this happens all the time, even outside of our industry. I got a text from my âgrandmaâ who said she was stranded and using a strangers phone and needed funds ASAP! My grandma has passed onâŚ

The Grandma scam is common.
ie. âGrandma Iâm in jail in Canada. Donât tell mom. I need money for bail.â
âOr grandma my car broke down in some far flung area, donât tell mom, I need $X amount of money to get it fixed. â
This actually happened to my 100 yr old aunt but she was sharp enough to call the grandson direct who answered at home who was playing video games.
