I guess technically I am working with my dog when I am working from home, but he never contributes to any of the Zoom calls.

I have a couple that have very fare and sensitive skin, I discovered the sunscreen/skin protector that helps, along with coconut oil in their food and I rub it on em.
I've tried some of the itching treats I saw advertised on Tictoc, they're a bit pricey for me.

The problem with allergies is that if they are allergic, they are usually allergic to more than one thing. It could be atopy, food allergy, flea allergy, food intolerance. or contact allergy.
It takes a lot to isolate the offending antigen(s). Your pet's dermatologist may want to run intradermal testing to isolate the cause. Blood tests are inconsistent and unreliable. You would still have to do a food trial. There's a new diet made by Royal Canin that you can use to eliminate food as a cause or to positively identify it's a food allergy named Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP. Hydrolyzed protein for dogs with severe allergies or sensitivities. The protein sources are hydrolyzed to where they are so small the haptens on the IGE cells won't recognize that it's there so there's no sequence of reactions where prostaglandins, leukotrienes and other mediators of inflammation result in heat, inflammation and itching. Remember, you must not give any treats for the duration of the trial which is between 6-8 weeks. You also have to keep them on the very best flea control products like Bravecto so it removes fleas as a cause. Topical therapy is important too because it removes antigens on the skin's surface which in atopic dogs are absorbed and result in the allergic scratch conditions that are so aggravating! Steroids are often given and as an initial treatment to get the inflammation down they work well but if the animal is kept on these drugs like prednisolone or prednisone, they flatten every immune response in the body and often leads to Cushing's disease which ain't a good thing. Supplements like omega 3 and omega 6 help at a rate of about 6%.
Dermatology is as much an art as a science. One of the very best "Dermoids" is Dr. Wayne Rosencrantz who owns the Animal Dermatology Clinics. He's in Tustin but you can find them everywhere
I hope this helps. PM me if you would like additional information
