I was stationed there in 1970. I got in trouble for off-roading in a military Dodge Powerwagon. Pilot ratted me out.
Besides it being hot in the summer sometimes it snowes in the winter. It snowed in the winter of 1970.

Ya be careful of the Mojave' Green Rattlers. Especially in the early mornings and sunsets. They are deadly poisonous.
