FYI, there were no injuries, let alone fatalities, in this case. If you are going to never fly in one of these planes, it should be because of my last paragraph below, not because of this incident.
The former pilot being interviewed in the link says: "This is a very infrequent occurrence. This is the first one I've heard of in the 737 in probably 20 years, so this would be an isolated incident. The Standby Power Control Unit, which was the offender in this case, should not have been powered, and that will be part of the investigation...". He also said that passengers in the middle of the plane likely didn't even feel it, only people at the front and back of the plane
It should be noted that the Boeing 737 Max has only been flying commercially since 2017. Also, The 737 MAX was grounded worldwide between March 2019 and November 2020 following two fatal crashes. A further accident involving an uncontrolled decompression led to the grounding of most 737 MAX 9 aircraft in January 2024.

Someone didn't pull the Circuit breakers to keep it from Stalling. But it should have the updated software installed by now. Hmm...
Who knows, maybe someone was screwing with the Rudder pedals.

I watched the hearing today. That Engineer didn't really know what he was talking about. smh...
I felt like emailing both Senators to set them straight on torquing fasteners.
The other Senator wanted the CEO to step down.
I know full well what Human Resources does within Boeing and I see it as mostly their fault and the chain of failures lead to deaths and this. The other Engineers are held hostage to their jobs because they are Salary and have No Union protections. While several managers are nothing but grown Bullies.
And No mention of the two whistle blowers who were murdered, er... committed suicide. Ya right. smh...

NASA and Boeing managers knew their Starliner rocket had a leak before launch but believed it was too small to pose a threat - as two astronauts remain stuck at the International Space Station over the issue, new reports say.
Officials found a helium leak on the troubled Starliner before its launch June 5, but NASA and Boeing leaders said the rocket was good to go because the issue was supposedly too small to pose a safety threat for the spacecraft, CBS News said. The rocket's launch date had already been delayed due to another leak.
Once in orbit, four more helium leaks developed, with one thruster officially deemed unusable.
