Sorry for the loss of your little partner in crime. I have lost 4 of my best friends and it never gets easier. He lived a good life under your care and you’ll be his mommy forever.
You gave him and them all the best place they could be. It's sad they leave a hole.
I still miss my Charlie, but today have this Calico that is mostly sleeping next to me as I write this, that's something else, despite her disabilities.
It was sad news and I was to far to give you a hug .
Louie is finally resting , he isn’t suffering , he isn’t blind anymore
He opened his little eyes to contemplate the beauty of the place where he is now.
Louie is a little angel now and he will look at you the same way he did when he was with you physically . His little Chihuahua heart love you even more ❤️
RIP little Louie
I know exactly what you are going through. I lost my golden retriever girl Queso Blanco a few weeks ago. She almost made 14 years. My two little Chihuahuas immediately changed their vibe when they realized she wasn't coming home.
I feel that when you have the patience to take care of an animal and they become dependent on you, you become dependent on their unconditional love as well.
Lamar that's understandable, however I look at it like you're not replacing your dog, just giving another one a happy life.
I'll never stop rescuing animals when they need it, I hope to anyways !
